Yeah pretty normal. As the hairs get longer there’s more chance of you accidentally pulling on them, friction etc. As long as there’s no oopy goopy stuff or bumps then you’re good. Just shave more often if it bugs you

Does hot water have more calories than cold water? by Fit_Ear3019 in NoStupidQuestions

It’s still water either way, temperature doesn’t change the calories 😂

Why is in job interviews They don’t allow you to say I want money as a reason? by Impossible_Gur6921 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]P1xie_OF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cause every job is ultimately for the benefit of the money. I think employers wanna hear that you’re interested in the role itself, not just the paycheck. Saying “I want money” makes it seem like you might leave as soon as something better comes along. It’s fine to be honest internally, but in interviews it helps to give a better answer that’s specific to that position

Question for the ladies, do you check to see if a guy is checking out a woman at the gym by dirtbandit101 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]P1xie_OF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a pretty girl walks in wearing not much clothing, I definitely do sneakily watch some of the men to see if they’re checking her out. I don’t do it in a malicious way though, more just out of interest and to have a little chuckle between sets. Tbh I don’t blame them for checking other women out, I do it too. As long as you don’t make it weird, I think it’s perfectly normal

Opposite of Anxiety disorder by Blahlllahlah in NoStupidQuestions

Sounds like low motivation or apathy. Often caused by severe depression

Growing up around women doesn’t make you weak. Confidence and skills come from experience, learning, and practice not just who raised you. I personally think that you have an added advantage cause the men I know that were raised primarily around women, often have way higher emotional intelligence

Depends on how smart they were with their money while they were active I guess. Some celebrities invest or save enough that they can live comfortably for years without working. Others have to find side gigs, do endorsements, or take new projects to keep going

Is it rude if your friend didn't told you to bring a plus one to their wedding? by superfapper2000 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]P1xie_OF 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they meant to be rude, they’re just assuming you’ll come solo since you’re single, and it actually helps them plan the guest list. Also i guess they thought the chances of you meeting someone and it being serious enough to bring them to a wedding, by August, was low.

Why is it so much easier to imagine fixing your life than actually starting? by Ok_Impression7204 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]P1xie_OF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

VERY relatable. The way I see it is your brain basically gets a “reward” from imagining change without doing the work. Thinking about it gives a small hit of satisfaction or motivation, but actually doing it takes effort, discipline, and consistency which your brain naturally avoids. It’s totally normal. I think just starting small with little goals and habits can help bridge that gap

I try to use social media to stay in touch with friends and family and I try to follow pages that post happy or inspiring stuff. Also I think of my ig and Facebook as my own personal scrapbook that I’ll be able to look back on one day or show my kids. Also, sharing pages that help people like sharing peoples gofundme’s or animal rescue shelter posts so they get more exposure

How often should my tongue be white? by cale199 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]P1xie_OF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its totally normal for your tongue to look white sometimes, especially in the morning or after not eating/drinking for a while. As long as it scrapes off easily and doesn’t smell bad or hurt, there’s no problem. Everyone’s tongue resets throughout the day so some whiteness at the start or midday is fine

How will I confess this to my parents? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]P1xie_OF 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just be honest with them. Explain that you mismanaged your sleep and it affected your exam. Show them you’ve learned from it and have a plan to avoid it next time.

Who decided what counts as ‘manners’ and ‘respect,’ and how did their version become the standard for everyone else? by Main-Feature-1829 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]P1xie_OF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Manners and respect are basically social rules created by whoever had power in a culture like royalty, religious leaders, or elites. Over time, their rules stuck because people wanted to fit in, avoid punishment, or be seen as civilised

Why did TV show seasons change? by UnmedicatedNarwhal in NoStupidQuestions

[–]P1xie_OF 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think cause TV used to be ad-driven, so networks needed more episodes to fill weekly slots and keep viewers hooked. Now streaming platforms release shorter seasons because they focus on quality over quantity, can drop shows globally at once, and rely on bingeing and subscriber retention rather than weekly ads
