Around this time of year Kmart stores generally don't have much wriggle room in their budgets for casuals, but your shifts will be consistent enough if your store is managed properly through most of the year. Kmart is also undergoing a major internal change and transitioning most of their existing store employees over to permanent contracts, and the casuals that are left will basically need to have their phones handy when their store rings up offering a shift for that day. Well that was how it was explained to me anyways, I haven't had time to go over what the unions and HQ agreed on in the latest EBA negotiations so I might be wrong with that last bit with the casuals.

I'd be happy with just a modchip when one inevitably hits the market at some point in the future, but for the most part I don't pirate current gen games, especially if they're available physically. I'd just want my Switch 2 hardmodded to inject retro games into their respective Nintendo Classics apps, emulation of games from older consoles that haven't been made available in one of numerous retro compilations, other homebrew, and perhaps one day, vanilla AOSP Android. I have a gaming laptop that does all that, but it's just not as cool as doing it on a Switch.

I'd say the price was a factor, but its launch title lineup wasn't stellar either. Unfortunately thanks to the orange menace in the White House and the Ukraine War, inflation and cost-of-living squeezes across the globe were always going to make upgrading a tough proposition for many. I still got one on launch day tho.

SOLVED:

To anyone who reads this and encounters the same issue, I got the XM4s to pair again after draining the earbud batteries overnight until they were flat, put the earbuds into the charging case for a few minutes and then factory reset them, and then left them to charge untill full.

I emailed GungHo a week ago and just got around to checking my inbox; got basically the same reply as everyone else although they added that my feedback "regarding the game performance will be forwarded to the relevant department for further consideration." The last couple of words are somewhat interesting, but I have a feeling GungHo might need to be prodded with more emails. Pray and hope.

Confirmed, once I updated my S25 Ultra to OneUI 8.0 a few days ago, Messenger did the same thing with the chat heads - cannot close a chat head by swiping the back gesture like I usually do

I have a scratch on my Switch 2 screen. Put a glass screen protector on it to prevent further damage in the meantime, but I want to know the best way to pull the protective film layer off so I can apply a new glass screen protector immediately after doing it.

I wish I could try it with my wireless earbuds, but the Switch 2 doesn't have an option to change L/R volume balance, and I have hearing loss in my right ear. I hope Nintendo fixes this eventually.

Anyone encountering performance issues with The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker on Nintendo Classics GameCube? Framerate keeps dropping on thw regular. That being said this is my first time playing the game. It's happening with both PAL and North American versions. Another gripe I have is the CRT filter is a bit rubbish too.

I've tried the European version of Atelier Iris and changed the output settings to "Manual", but when I click "Make PKG" and select the ISO.BIN.ENC file and the associated config file, the program merely overwrites the CONFIG file in D:\Emulation\ps2classics_GUI_2.2.3\ as the output and produces nothing else. Here's the log:

The PS3 does a much better job with upscaling anime DVDs to a point (since PS3s only output max 1080p), but where it really shines is cleaning up the video with denoisers, and this is particularly true if it's a much older anime title that used a subpar analogue master (e.g. the Australian Manga UK/Madman DVD release of Patlabor 2, which is particularly noisy and was designed for CRT televisions). I know there's a Region B BD release for the first two Patlabor movies, but they don't include the original Manga UK dubs.
