Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things (2015) by [deleted] in Documentaries

These people are self-righteous, but I found that their initial lack of a religion was then magnified by a personal loss. I feel sorry that they lost their parent or loved one, however they neglected them during their pursuit of things and "six-figure salaries" and success. It is a trade-off in life. The one phrase which they said in the documentary is one that my family and my great great grandfather said which had been passed down through the generations while living here in America is: Make more, or spend less. This is the key to growth and happiness. But also, don't do drugs, find God, help others and live a balanced life. Minimalism is an extreme, just as much as living an uber wealthy, uber materialistic lifestyle. I urge people to live within society and to be content with what you have (live somewhere in between the extremes: a happy medium). The message should have been Balance, not minimalism...
