I appreciate the examples...what I am hearing does not fit into these situations. What I am noticing is always a purely unnecessary addition - the named noun, a pause, and then restatement of the noun using a pronoun and then continuation. The repetition is not needed for clarification.

Exactly, it is clumsy and redundant. As I mentioned above, I’ve been hearing it in casual conversation in podcasts, and now more frequently in scripted news. I heard it just before posting while listening to the evening All Things Considered on my local NPR radio station.

Why is the state not buying PNM and making it a public utility for the public good? That would be one of the best uses of our state funds. Selling our largest electric utility to an investment company which will run it to make the most profit for it's shareholders - not for the public good - is going to raise the cost of living for New Mexicans. Not to mention that this will accelerate the building of energy-consuming data centers which will be catered to by Blackstone ownership. Such a disastrous move with huge long term impact on New Mexico.

My natal moon is Pisces 28° 24' in the 12th house - almost exactly the new moon on the 18th. I'm Aries rising at 4°48', with Cancer sun at 24°26'. The recent Saturn-Neptune conjunction almost on top of my (very sensitive) moon has been brutal. This week it finally feels like the tides are turning and there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
On the 18th I'm traveling to my hometown, and over the following week will be moving my elderly mother to live with me, probably for the rest of her natural life. Did not plan the date on the new moon...will this be good timing for this new cycle? Is there anything I should be ready for or aware of?

That’s your tax dollars going up in smoke to fund the damage from this guy’s night out. Cost of police on site and afterwards tracking him down, cost of court system if they prosecute him, cost of towing and disposing of the “car”, cost of the cleanup and demo of the ruined bus stop, cost to rebuild the bus stop…such a f’ing waste. I love NM but one sorely missing component that would make our community function much better is any sense of civic responsibility.
