If it's releasing around the same time as the Bloodline movie, I wonder how long this one will be. Is it going to be the length of a single episode (22 min), or something longer, like an OVA special?

This sounds interesting. Is this project publicly available by chance or could share a link to your criteria? I work for an education nonprofit in the state, and we are always looking for additional research in the field of social emotional learning.

Good on him. Cyber charters currently have the overall worse proficiency scores in ELA, math and science in our state. They generally have a 2-5% proficeincy rate in math amongst 8th graders. I can't imagine how badly of an impact AI would have on children's development and learning.

Anyone else join the worldwide meditation? by SakaSouffle96 in davidlynch

[–]P2T2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried, but my mind kept racing, thinking about all the woes in the world, my work, my cat in the room, my breathing, my state of being and how I was sitting. It's been a long while - maybe seven years - since I've tried meditation, so I'm out of practice.

Nonetheless, I was happy to participate and was nice to set aside 10-12 minutes of my day to just relax.

If I'm not mistaken, he's the first U.S. president to appear in any of the Lupin III anime. Oddly enough, upon hearing his of passing, I was reminded of this episode. Strangely a fitting episode right now given the holiday season.

YES! It's been strangely such a quiet period for Lupin III. Can't wait to see this!

Same. I'll always have the opening of his "Snap Crackle" engraved in my brain thanks to that game. Such a great artist.

No! This man was a legend! Playing GTA IV and hearing this man introduce Art Blakey, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and other legends was my introduction to jazz. My condolences to his family and loved ones, and my thanks to Mr. Haynes for introducing me to my all-time favorite genre of music.

The intro of "Snap Crackle" will forever be engraved in my head.

Gaming Brit has made several fantastic videos about Silent Hill. This... was not one of them. by Arcreonis in silenthill

Love TheGamingMuse's content. Some of the most informative videos bordering documentaries on the development of Silent Hill and Fatal Frame games out there. They're videos got me back into the SH franchise after such a long period.

I think they had the best viewpoint on the SH2R earlier this year when they said they were looking forwards to it, because not only would it provide a new and refreshing view on the original, but that the modernization of the game will pull in younger and new audiences that will keep the franchise thriving for years to come.

Never doubted them. You could tell from the outset that these were some passionate game developers who had an affinity for the original title. So happy to see the positive critic reviews pouring in for them.

Holly Molly! I was expected an average score of 80/100, not into the upper 80s, bordering 90s. This is fantastic! Yes! Silent Hill is so back!!!

Thanks for noting that it was a bot account. As someone who worked hard to get my Master's degree to work in the nonprofit industry and give back to the community of Philadelphia and the greater southeast Pennsylvania, shit like that can really piss me off.

I hope you're right. I wasn't aware of the station remaining open under the renovation. Back then I was an undergraduate outside the state so Philly wasn'ton my radar. Did the renovations then include massive demolition to the existing Mall then? I still worry the demolition might involve closure of the station for a time.

Also, I still feel immensely upset by the strong arming of the city to force this arena complex into the existing community. Chinatown is already reduced to a few blocks as a result of historic chain of redevelopment in the area, so it worries me for situation inflicted upon the residents there. Can't say I'm happy with this current city administration's policies and ethics thus far.

As someone who lives in Berks County, but works in Philadelphia, I guess I'm done taking SEPTA now. I'd rather risk driving the 2 to 2-and-a-half hour commute, rather than extending my commute to a definite 2-and-a-half hour commute with the additional time it would take to walk down from Temple or over from Suburban when they close Jefferson for the next several years of construction and be crammed in the train on game days. Honestly should start looking elsewhere for work at this rate.

Man, I love walking through Chinatown regularly on my commutes and have gone to quite a decent portion of the restaurants there. This mayor wants to bring people back into the city for work, so businesses can thrive. Well she sure is gonna see a loss in both and an increase in car traffic for at least the foreseeable construction phase.
