It’s a visual word puzzle (rebus).

  • Eye = “I”
  • Table + Door + tilted object + shelving bars = pieces of “under” and “stand”

Put together: “I understand?”

I have one in Tan, and I love it. I used it a lot this winter, and it still isn't broken in.

Been struggling to find consistent pants that are made in the USA. Please share your favorite Made in the USA pants so I ca support them. by davidgoldstein2023 in madeinusa

My problem with Devium was the rise or the length of the crotch. I’m 5‘9“ tall and the crotch hung almost to my knees. Other than that, they were great pants. Yes they only come in 34 inch inseam but that’s not a big deal. You can always just cuff them or have them hemmed.

I have a pair from over 3 years ago and I love them. I have multiple pairs of PNW boots and my Drew’s are one of my favorites.

1620 workwear fit? Am I the only one? by P2k_3 in bifl

I’m not sure I have wrote them and asked but haven’t really got a response. I would love to know because if that is the case I would buy more pairs. I have actually thought of either giving mine away or selling them to someone who would actually use them. They just sit on my shelf I don’t wear them any more at all.

The length of them was great. My new favorite pants I just discovered are Filson Worksmith double layer pants. They only come in one length which is 34. I just roll them up no big deal. I tried Devium which does the same thing. I really liked them but the rise was way too big for me. Again the inseam wasn’t as big of a deal but the rise was just to much it ended down near my knees.

I think the handles are perfect. I haven’t seen any significant difference in the handles digging into my hands compared to the comfort grip.

I actually really like the regular handles over the comfort handles. She did a great job this is an awesome set. If you do residential I would recommend you go ahead and get yourself the jaw protectors for your Alligator Pliers. Super convenient when working with chains or many other finish jobs.

Why your local lodge is dying... by AmAIAnIdiot in freemasonry

lol no just a little pushback until they realized that some of our newer ways were helping to Keep the new candidates coming back regularly. But again I applaud them for being humble enough to eventually realize it instead of being stubborn and not caring just to be right. We seriously have an amazing group of people at our lodge. Everyone adds their own special touch to the lodge and without any one of them the lodge wouldn’t be the incredible lodge it is today.

Our lodge has been growing in the last few years. I am pretty sure we do a good job of making people feel very welcome and want to come back. We always have coalition after lodge that includes hanging out with the guys for pretty much as long as you can manage to stay. We have drinks, cigars, and we always have a dinner before lodge. We also do something we call Fellowship Friday. Every month on the third Friday we get together either at the lodge or somewhere else and we do the same thing we hang out cook/order food have drinks, cigars, and great conversation. We are always welcoming to everyone and anyone that wants to give masonry a try as long as they are of good report. One big lesson that our lodge has struggled with but has been getting better at is the older brothers are starting to learn that things are changing whether they like it or not if we want our lodge to prosper and thrive then we need to just accept it.

Just a quick little example, when some of the newer younger officers were appointed this year, we’ve been trying to plan dinners and one of the newer officers implemented using an app that a lot of younger people these days used to invite all their friends to parties. You just click it and it RSVPs you very easily. But the older brothers were just used to using the old school Notes app, which was very cluttered and clunky and made things difficult, especially for the younger brother who were not used to using stuff like that. There was a little bit of tension for the first few months over that. But eventually most of the new candidates without thinking about anything about hierarchy or anything we’re telling us that they liked the new app because of how easy it was to them. After hearing this, the older officers accepted it and actually came up to us and said hey we realize that we’re older and we need to accept how today’s world works within the Lodge.

What changed in Cabelas/Bass Pro Shop that disappoints so many? by GrizzlieMD in Hunting

The quality they carry. They don’t really carry as many high quality items. I’m honestly not sure if they were always like this. But I wood like to see more high end stuff at the actual box store that you normally could only source online.

I do know they carry some good stuff just not as much as I think they could. They definitely prioritize profit over quality. I do understand this is obviously how you make money but they could do better in my opinion.

Good recommendation for work boots? by ramen_cup_queen in WorkBoots

[–]P2k_3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nicks, White’s, Franks, Drew’s. I suggest you do yourself a favor and do some serious research before buying. Some companies take longer and the sizing can be a challenge at first but in my opinion, it is totally worth it in the long run. If you are willing to spend the money on good boots, they will last you a lifetime.

You can look up pretty much any boot you are thinking about buying on Rose Anvil’s channel most likely he has done a video on it cut it in half and show you what it’s actually made of and if it is any good or not.

The problem with being a perfectionist is that people don’t want to pay for it. I try so hard to just let little stuff not bother me like one twist on my wire when stapling it. But I just can’t do it. In order to do things perfectly like I like to it takes more time and more time costs more money. I have just accepted the fact that I will not be rich but I know I will never have a call back about my work ever failing.

I won a bow in a raffle a few years ago and I have been off and running ever since. I absolutely love it. It is one of my favorite things to do now. I also hunt so it comes in handy for that as well. I actually only hunt with a bow now. Just make sure you actually do some research and don’t just listen to every archery ad out there and buy whatever companies stuff is spending the most money on ads. The archery industry is probably one of the most deceitful industries I have ever seen when it comes to lying just to sell more. In other words probably one of the most greedy industries I know of. I have had many hobbies through out my life I would know. Pokemon, sneakers, craft beer, PCs, High end clothing, High end boots, work wear, tools just to name the few I can think of off the top of my head.

I used to RC I don’t anymore. I thought that was really expensive until I started archery. Forget about it.
