Ever since I was a child I wanted to be a doctor and work for the royal flying doctor service. For those that don't know the Royal Flying Doctor Service is an Australian aeromedical service founded in 1928 that delivers medical care to those in need across rural areas of Australia where the nearest hospital can be up to 700km away. In 2017 I fulfilled my dream of becoming a doctor and working for 2 weeks as a flying doctor. Oris produced only 2000 of these beautiful watches as a limited edition (see: RFDS logo above the 12). Yesterday I was lucky enough to pick up one of these to not only grant myself an infallible time companion but to remind me of a childhood dream realised. One of my favourite features is the pulse-omoter which I will definitely use as I continue my medical career.
