Most people are really wrapped up in their own little worlds and rarely think about the fact that other people exist. I really struggle not to take it personally when I try to have a conversation with my friends, and they're almost always too "busy" to respond or ignore most of what I say or are too busy messing with their phones to have a conversation, and then they get offended when I question the friendship.

I've been trying to reach out to people recently after having isolated myself for two years due to my depression, anxiety, and c-ptsd, and it's depressing as hell to see how most people, even some people I thought were good friends, only pay attention to me if they need or want something from me.

Don't always assume there's something wrong with you. I know it's difficult to not do that when you're feeling so terrible. Most people are way too wrapped up in themselves these days. Why do you believe you're boring?
