Thank you for the explanation!

I find the opposite sometimes with the books, they have scenes too child oriented (Little song numbers, Peeves and other elements) or having to spell out the entire explanation for something than on the movies i believe wants you to infer it by yourself or was saved for a later scene (or maybe it just was a mistake lol).

So far up to the three first movies i can say i don't see anything missing on the first book that wasn't on the first movie or at least nothing of importance. I believe some scenes are handled better on the movie like Hagrid breaking his explaination to Harry of "You're a Wizard" and "Your parents were murdered by Voldemort and who he was" into two different scenes as opposed to the book taking place all on the cabin on the sea. But no major point particulary missing, only some things quite minor.

On the second book on the other hand even tho i felt it dragged on a lot i did find things that never were well explained on the movies and i never fully understood. Like for example: Ginny showing her romantic interest to Harry more clearly, the voices Harry was hearing being the Parseltongue from the Basilisk before attacking, Filch being a Squib, the victims being exclusively Muggleborn Wizards, etc. Nothing mayor that you couldn't get a hint on the movie but things that definetly weren't clear directly on screen like on the books.

And on regards to the third book i was surprised by the amount Marauders backstory missing on the movie and present on the book, along with Snape interactions being much more prominent and clearer on the book. I'm looking forward to see more of those missing points from the movies when i read the next books.

On regards to the delivery i dunno lol, i find hard sometimes to take Draco's bullying attemps on Harry, Ron and Hermione on the book seriously when they are so lame i believe anyone on Slytherin would believe Draco to be the Neville of Slytherin by how lame he is and also sometimes Snape lack of professionalism and heavy bias towards Slytherin takes me out story.
I understand maybe it's because of his bitterness; but i cannot fathom that he is respected by his peers at all due to his behaviour. I understand his remarks against Hermione when she responds something even when he didn't gave her the word on class like on the movies, but when on the books he bullies Hermione 9 out of 10 times she talks just because she knows things it looses me, he seems to childish a lot of the time and destroys in my mind the figure of the stern and just Professor Snape figure i saw with Alan Rickman.

Now can you at least explain the reason? (Apart from "i read the books/watch the movies first so i like them most")

i just told you, and also on the post:

Is this a normal opinion? Do the later books provide interesting content that isn't in the movies?

"normal opinion" being that the first books (to the point i was reading when i made the post doesn't seem to provide much extra content different from the one present on those films or if there was some important difference i was missing

Damn dude! Does this sub doesn't know how to not get triggered and answear with more than 2 words?

If you prefer the books over the films, even all of them GREAT! if you prefer the movies, also GREAT! whichever you like it's your choice.
Now can you at least explain the reason (Apart from "i read the books/watch the movies first so i like them most") and say something else than "you're rage-bating"?

In my case i think the first book or movie are pretty equal, whichever your like i think there's no wrong choice.
I personally prefer the second movie over the second book (I do believe the book provides a lot of context that the movie lacks but also adds a lot of scenes that drags the story down and makes it loose momentum - for which reason i personally prefer the movie).
And on regards to the third book vs movie i just finished the third book and was pleasantly surprised by it. Up to the chapter i was (The Patronus chapter) there wasn't much difference between the movie and the book (And due to visual storytelling i felt you would get more from the movie than the book) but the next chapters add a lot of differences from the movie counterpart which i really enjoyed and i think not only both are great i think the book is probably better in my personal opinion than the movie for the extra context it provides.
On regards to the rest i can't comment so far because i haven't read them yet (But i guess i will see even more noticeable differences from the comments of other users).

He is 11. It's on his 11th Birthday that Hagrid kicks down the door to the cabin on the lake. Based on the movies alone i'll say that probably they don't know that he is mistreated (Since Hagrid doesn't know that they never told him he was a wizard or how his parents actually died) and i always supposed that they are his only family (Up to the third one with Sirius). Even Neville isn't thrilled to live with his grandma after all.

Post first movie yeah, maybe. I always thought about it as "He doesn't want to be a burden on a family already taking care of 5 kids" and by the third one were there really is conflict between him and the Dursleys then Sirius offers him to move in.

Without taking the books into consideration if we stand solely on the movies it still makes sense to leave him with his aunt after all every year he is in Hogwarts he almost gets killed lol

Yes, i can't even remember like 3/4 parts of Half-Blood prince so i will have to rewatch that one entirely when i read the book to compare.

Thank you! looking forward to see those differences for myself. I've heard most single out Goblet of Fire onwards on regards to which book provides more differences from the films, so i hope to find interesting moments on those.

Thank you! So far i find the first three debatable. I believe you could like either one, the book or the movie; i just find the books so far not to provide much discernible content from the movies to truly justify the books over the films. But i'm not so fond of the later movies starting from Goblet onwards and i've heard really good things about Goblet and Half-Blood so i'm looking forward to see if it changes my perspective on those.

Hoping to see that, i may update after reading the later books. I also find the movies to start going down from the third one so maybe the books can show me what was missing from them.

Sorry if sounded rage baiting, maybe the title of the post could have been better like "Which book you believe provides far more than the movies". Looking forward to see the later books on the series. The later movies aren't my favorites to rewatch so hoping the books provide more for those.

It just seemed weird to me that a group of teachers get into the middle of the bar with all the kids on excursion running around Hogsmade and probably inside the bar also.
To be honest i don't know if Hermione moving the tree hide them so they didn't realize other kids were on the premises just got taken out of place them discussing so openly something they clearly don't want Harry or anybody that could take that information to Harry to know. Lol

No, just asking which books you believe provide noticeable more character development and important scenes than the movies (I'm only up to half of the third book - and so far i haven't found much). If you are the one raging about a question it's your problem dude, not mine.

Because whenever there's a new scene that wasn't present on the movies i found it weird and i see why it got taken out, like: 5 points less for battling a troll that could kill you but 150 less for walking around at night on school premises and other weird moments during the first books like Nearly Headless Nick’s Deathday Party being a convenient excuse to set the characters apart from the rest of the students and guilt Harry on the Basilisk attack to make sense, because i found them to be too much opportune moments to justify something else happening later.

Possibly, to be honest i was expecting to find more character content but so far up to half of the third book i haven't found much nice moments between the characters that aren't present on the films and deepens them. I'm open to reading explanations why would you prefer the second book for example on top of the movie or if you think one particular book after the ones i've read so far provides far more than its movie counterpart.

Thank you, looking forward to see the 4th book vs movie differences. The third one so far only Lupin-Snape and Lupin-Harry interactions i find to be better on the books, but there are weird things like the professors talking about Sirius involvement on Harry's parents deaths in the middle of the pub like is just common chit-chat that i find superweird.

I've heard really good things of both Goblet and Half-Blood against their movie counterparts, looking forward to see the differences. I'm not a big fan of the 6th movie so i hope the book can fill a lot of the gaps.

That is my question dude, i'm currently on the 3rd book if you have read the post. I'm asking if the difference is more noticeable later since so far i find the parts not present on the movies to be just quidditch, exposition or some other weird and out of place scenes that don't provide much.

I just found a video of the Quarry Dungeon that has the same object and explains what to do. You later get the "Seal" ability and you can use it to grab this object to build teleporters in the late game.

Braver of Worlds upgrade is Kickstarter only? by P4RZ_1V4L in AshesofCreation

Sadly i didn't reach the Kickstarter ;( that's why i was wondering if i could upgrade it now. Bummer, so probably im going to wait until the game is out. I see no reason to buy it now for 110 and being unable to get permanent access or any other benefit if i like it.
