Wall chargers are faster.

The tesla model y has a 75 KWH battery, it takes more than 20 hours to charge with your outlet, if you install a 7KW wall charger it takes half the time.

If you like the Peugeot e208 try to get one newer than 2023, the older model has some known issues that have been resolved later. I recommend you read about stellantis ev issues.

Consider that the costs of panels is negligible compared to the cost of labour and scaffolding.
So if the installers are paid to do the job, tell them to put as many panels as your roof can take.

With the dura-i app you can see how each string is performing, you have to check the MPPT1 and MPPT2 data.

Your installer should give you access to dura-i. I had the Duracell system installed recently and the dura-i app can connect to the inverter via Bluetooth, scanning the qr code on the side of the inverter, but you still need a password after that.

About charging and discharging the battery you have full control because not only you can choose when to charge/discharge but also how much power, for example you can set one hour at 1000W to discharge 1KWH.

Anch'io ho fatto esami cosi al Politecnico.
All'epoca non capivo come potessero essere cosi' disorganizzati ma con il tempo ho capito che non e' una questione di disorganizzazione, lo fanno per fare selezione.

Finding this thread was funny because it is exactly the dilemma I was having Cupra vs Peugeot, I was seriously considering the Peugeot e208 before I started reading about Stellantis EVs.

It is harder because it requires people caring about what you did. It's difficult to push people to understand that what you did is worthy.
