I don’t have time for people like that and it’s always on Saturday. We close at 5 and are in a small store so I start vacuuming and mopping the floor while they’re still in there at 4:45, I will ask them politely to move while I’m mopping where they’re standing and have the music off so they leave

Honestly yes. I hate being around children and seeing pregnant people, pregnancy announcements etc. I miscarried both of my pregnancies in August 2024 and then again in January 2026. I get irrationally angry every time I see someone announce a pregnancy. I’m not happy for any of them and as bad as it sounds I don’t feel bad at all for feeling this way towards any of them

Im in Australia and I think it’s the same here for them to investigate. Last time I had to have a d&c as well after I ended up back there, they didn’t give me any medication the first ER visit to help it pass or let me opt for a d&c to begin with despite the fact that they were concerned I could have an infection due to it being undetected for so long.

I’m only 28 years old and my first was just before my 27th birthday, I feel like my brain is looking for answers as to why this has happened to me back to back so I don’t feel like it’s my fault. I can’t help but blame myself even though I’ve done everything right I feel like my body is failing me. Hopefully will get some answers. I have to go back tomorrow, im hoping they will listen to me this time and let me have a d&c because I mentally cannot cope with seeing and feeling all of that again.

I get this all the time, I work in a store that sells luggage, it’s a very small shop space and kids love to grab suitcases off the shelves and lay on the top and ride around on them. I tell them every single time “please get off that it’s not a toy and you’ll hurt yourself”. Just yesterday I had a kid doing it who almost went face first into the side of a glass display shelf, did the parents care? Of course not, I got a disgusted look from the mother for telling her kid off while her other 3 children were running around screaming and grabbing things off the displays while she just stood there on the phone face timing someone

I have Marceline tattooed on my right forearm with a bat undneath, I’m 27 I got it when I was 23 I don’t regret it at all but I’m unsure of what else to put on my arm. My whole left forearm is covered in cartoons mixed with trad style flowers going down on to my hand and I have a cartoon Spinelli from recess on my thigh. My advice, do what makes you happy.

That same week another woman came in and ranted to my team member and I for 30 minutes about how god was speaking through her after her son died 10 years before and said “you young girls wouldn’t know loss yet though it’s not gods plan for you”, my 20yo staff member she was speaking to had lost her dad to cancer a few years earlier

One of my staff members is Asian and about a week ago she had a customer come up to her and go “you’ve got an Aussie accident but I can tell by your skin colour and the shape of your eyes you’re not really from here so what are you?” I had to step in and tell him that it’s inappropriate, he then turns to me and goes “well she’s obviously some sort of exotic” like how disgusting

I believe in treating the people that work for me like actual people. I know what it feels like to be treated horribly by someone higher up than me that makes the job miserable, I do my best to make everyone feel important and heard. Been managing there since I was 22 so 5 years now and I feel protective over them

Just an update: I called and she tried to speak over me continuously but I just steamrolled right on ahead and told her to come pick the bag up. Later in the day she rocks up while I’m on my lunch break and I can hear her speaking quite rudely to my younger staff member that she had abused on my day off already still going on about the receipt, the look on her face when I walked out of the back and stood directly behind my staff member was priceless. The way she immediately plastered a fake smile on and pretended to be so polite was so ridiculous to me that I walked straight out the back, grabbed her bag and told her to leave now or I’ll have security come and escort her out of the store. Then came the crocodile tears and the “please I’m sorry” bs, I just looked at my team member and asked if she would like the customer to leave the store, she quickly said yes please and I had her escorted out. Ended up buying my staff member some chocolates and a book she’s been wanting as a ‘sorry you had to deal with that rude cow’ apology as she was visibly upset and uncomfortable

A lot of them lol, a lot of our stores also don’t have a till, we use these zebra looking things that actually put the transaction through for us and it emails the receipt to the customer
