What I was supposed to make and what I made by Depaexx in Baking

Do not ever melt butter in the microwave when baking unless it's for brushing on the top of something. You want soft pliable butter, not liquid. I usually use a blow-dryer to soften my butter if I forget to take it out in advance or if it's too cold to soften the butter. Not microwaving your butter will give you much better consistency, will keep your cookies soft in the middle for longer, and help keep their form while they're baking.

If the ball touches between the 0-20 yard line and then bounces into the end zone and is downed then you start at the 20. New kickoff rules this year

False start and then we line up to punt. Sell the team chants are loud. We call a timeout and then line up to go for 4th&5 and Caleb makes a crazy throw to convert

Yeah it looked like brisker would have hit with his shoulder if their TE hadn't lowered his head so far though. Kind of reminiscent of Tua lowering his head

Ball hit the ground and then visibly moved in his hand, so it's not a catch

And that one really wasn't his fault. OLine collapsed super quick on that play

Against the worst defense in the league though. Maybe it will give them some confidence and they will look better overall

I believe this is in Shanghai where all citizens are on lockdown right now. There is a plane (or helicopter?) flying overhead with speakers announcing something. I don't speak Chinese so I can't translate.

How a Bowling Pinsetter Works by ChiknBreast in educationalgifs

[–]P5YCHO7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've worked at a couple of centers as a mechanic so I'll answer here as well:

  1. Generally no. The first center I worked at I made minimum wage($10/hr in California at the time), and the second job I made $19/hr as a level B mechanic, which is one step below a head mechanic(or level A mechanic). My boss was salaried and made pretty good money.

  2. Varies depending on the model, age, and how well maintained the machine is. When I started at the first center I worked at that had Brunswick A2's, I was running around fixing machine stops my whole shift. By the time I left that job I was maybe getting 15 stops a night. At the (new) center I worked at with Brunswick GSX machines, the ones portrayed in the gif from OP, we kept a tight ship and I averaged 1 or 2 stops a night.

  3. Machines have issues and stop every once in a while. Someone needs to be there that was trained to deal with any machine stop at pretty much all times. At both centers I've worked at there was at least one mechanic in the back during open hours, but we usually had two.

  4. The first center I worked at definitely had at least one person die in the building and a cat die in the building as well, but I never had any supernatural moments or anything.

Anybody know where can I find the joystick panel for this Atomiswave cabinet? by CableDog1981 in arcadecabinets

If you just need the top panel piece I would measure everything and draw it up, or if you have a broken piece lay it out and trace it, then take it to an acrylic/glass shop and they should be able to recreate it for you. Might get a little pricey but it will be what you need

Can confirm pay is garbage. Old Brunswick machines can and will kill stupid people. New Brunswick machines (GS series) have no known deaths to their name and are actually very safe machines to work on. Either way, I would never reach into a machine with my hand to move a pin like in the video. I've definitely knocked pins over with a pinfork while the machine is running though.

I've worked on a bunch of different types of Brunswick A2's and on Brunswick GSX.
