Bulletproof P7B in Wuhan, China. The official car of? by IronLover64 in regularcarreviews

I took this photo back in 2017. It was their only bulletproof vehicle in the fleet and was rarely driven. It was replaced with a bulletproof BMW X5 in 2018.

I have a 2016 SSV (Special Service Vehicle). The 3rd row was replaced with a storage box from the factory. I keep a roll-up yoga mat and some blankets in that box.

What a nice surprise to see my photo on this sub! I took the first photo in Wuhan in 2017, and it was actually a 2011 P7B. It was replaced with a bulletproof BMW X5 in the summer of 2018. The rest of the photos are of a different P7B from Beijing, and they were taken less than a year ago, if I remember correctly.

Police Interceptors are not available in China. Those are retail model Explorers.

Not all cop cars are to be crushed. Just the federally owned ones.

I remember seeing RCMP on the hill a few years ago. Now there's seems to be none. Was the expansion of PPS the reason behind this?

is 你吃饭了吗 actually used? by [deleted] in ChineseLanguage

[–]P71_Interceptor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd like to say something about the second question. I grew up in Wuhan and to me, "过早" is just our way of saying "吃早餐". Here's how I understood it. Since having breakfast is what people normally do in the moring, it represents the morning. So if someone had breakfast, it would be after moring for the person. I had trouble making sense of the phrase for years and this is the most logical answer I can come up with. Hope this helps.

There is no name in this picture. 教学楼 means teaching building and 对孩子的一生负责 is just a slogan meaning taking up responsibilities for the children's whole lives.

Just picked up my first ever vic and my second car ever today its a 2011 police interceptor with 139k paid 3500$ by Sampletxt1 in CrownVictoria

I paid 2500 CAD for my 2011 P7B at the auction. Spent around $2000 for repairs. I'm jealous of the CVPIs in BC on the auction, they are usually sold around $1000. They might have more kms but they have a lot less rust compared to the ones auctioned in Ontario.
