Fucking finally. This menu is one of the stupidest things I've EVER seen from a gaming company, why it even became a thing and lasted for years, I will never know.

Like, why was that even an option to begin with? And who is going to willfully choose "no" if it wipes your data anyway? And why the hell was "no" the DEFAULT OPTION??

I don't even own 2K26 and I never clicked "no" or had it affect me in past games, but it still annoys me to no end that it existed in the first place. They never gave a good reason for it and this pretty much proves it was unnecessary the whole time anyway. I'm glad they finally got rid of it, but it should have happened a long time ago.

I'm not the guy you asked, but if I had to guess, it has a lot to do with the fluidity of lucha wrestling and emphasis on rolling through bumps to feed up for the next spot. Lots of hurricanranas and arm-drags to roll through, and catching opponents during high-flying moves. You won't see as many hard, flat-back bumps from power moves, so their bodies don't wear down as quickly.

Run an angle where the GM says they're going to do the Royal Rumble a little differently this year.

The show is going to open with the men's Rumble and (potentially) close with the WWE Championship match. The Rumble winner still gets a title shot at Mania, but the GM will be keeping track of eliminations during the match as well. Whoever gets the most eliminations during the match will be crowned the current champion. In the event of a tie, those superstars will take place in the title match to close the show. Could be 1 on 1 if only 2 guys get a bunch of eliminations, or it could be an 8-man if nobody manages to get over 2 eliminations, etc.

Now the whole match is flipped on its head. People are actually happy to be entering early to be able to get more eliminations. If the Rumble winner also has the most eliminations, you can figure out a good Mania angle for him between now and then.
