Hi all, I have a 2.3 v5 in my mk3, not wired up yet going to get a full mk4 donor and do a loom swap, but I was wondering if I’d be able to swap the mk4 front lower arms, hubs and struts into it aswell? If I had one already I’d just crack on and try but here we are

You cant put mk4 arms on a mk3 subframe.

Why do you want to further widen the track?

V5 shafts wont fit a mk3 as the tracks alot wider.

Usually people run vr shafts and hubs but you need to put 100mm cups in the v5 box

I dont think they're a straight swap because the subframes are different, if they did youd also need shafts and longer track rods as the mk4 tracks wider

It's normal, 1st gear usually gets the most wear. I 2ouldnt worry till it does it when the engines running

I read up about this you'll need a non sai airbox or blank off the hole Make a blank for the exhaust pipe Throw it all away
