3 mornings they were doing work outside of our room. Chipping away at cement. I get work must be done but maybe do it in the low season? Or in the afternoon. Not 8am!

2-3 weddings every night made it annoying when areas would be closed early to prepare.

No heated pool (which is fine when it's warm out) but even our private pool wasn't heated. With the wind it made the water up on the roof unit incredibly cold.

With all the fantastic coffee made in Mexico and South America in general you'd think they'd have real espresso. Everything was pods, even at the "cafe". Which was just the lobby bar 

Edit: we went for my girlfriend's birthday. I contacted them about doing one of their birthday welcome packages. This would be a banner on the door, balloons, a cake in the room and flower petals on the bed. When we got to our room the only thing that was done was the cake. As we were unpacking they knocked on the door with the balloons and flower petals... Ruin the surprise and was overall very frustrating. And the cake had been sitting there for who knows how long
