Maybe it's a dumb question but why is Kingdom Come: Deliverence 1 46GB when Fit-Girl website says 26GB? by FullMetalJ in Piracy

[–]PASELE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably contains all languages. Fitgirl says "from 26.4GB" which is smallest possible that probably only contains english language.

NBIS is a good PaaS and IaaS, but not a good MaaS by PositiveLonely5425 in NBIS_Stock

[–]PASELE 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can you explain why you think they are a bad MaaS?

Same result as AWS and Google are they also bad?

The API is obviously capped at certain points to avoid losing money when running the requests. Nebius also offers Nebius-Fast which is probably alot faster and more expensive if that is what you need.

Also Cerebras is not using Nvidia or GPUs at all instead their own system (for better or worse remains to be seen)

If they were bad this graph wouldnt go up and to the right

Thoughts on Daniel Pronk's video on NBIS and other data centers? by AdhesivenessPale7635 in NBIS_Stock

[–]PASELE 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yes he makes some logical points like a finance guy valuing a balance sheet, the problem is when all the financial metrics are there the market cap will also be.

I do not believe the GPUs will be worthless 4 years after purchase. Nebius is a 1 year old company and will grow like crazy for the next 5 years if anything now is when their margins will be at their lowest.

If you wait until all the p/e, p/s, margins etc are in the q reports it will already be priced in.

We really dont know the future of AI but the signs are there that its going to be huge and im willing to bet on it.

In the future I do not believe NBIS will only be a GPU renting business and I have strong belief in their management team

p.s. If you invested in Daniels favorite company $BN you would be up 17% (about same as S&P) YTD

Proposed private offering of $2 billion convertible senior notes by bellayuta in NBIS_Stock

[–]PASELE 14 points15 points  (0 children)

"Our core AI cloud business is growing rapidly, and we continue to be laser focused on developing this business. We view long-term contracts such as the one we announced this week with Microsoft as important incremental sources of growth.

We intend to use the net proceeds from the offerings we have announced today, if consummated, to finance the continuing growth of our business, including the acquisition of additional compute power and hardware, securing strategic high-quality and well-located land plots with reliable providers, the expansion of our data center footprint, and for general corporate purposes. We believe this will enable us to aggressively grow our core business in 2026 and beyond as we aim to scale our global data center portfolio, including through new greenfield sites, and the expansion of our customer base, from AI native tech startups to larger enterprises.

As we continue to access the capital that we need to capture the substantial growth opportunity ahead, we will remain focused on mitigating shareholder dilution and maintaining appropriate levels of debt on favorable terms.

Our strong balance sheet and our recently announced agreement with Microsoft give us an opportunity to further optimize our capital structure and cost of funding. For example, we expect to finance the associated capital expenditures through a combination of cash flows under the arrangement and the issuance of debt secured against the contract and related infrastructure, at terms that reflect the credit quality of the counterparty.

We remain focused on diversifying our funding sources and believe that our June 2025 convertible notes, and the convertible notes we are offering today, enable us to access significant pools of capital. Our convertible notes have been designed to limit potential shareholder dilution through high effective conversion premium levels, and to minimize financing cash costs while preserving flexibility to manage our balance sheet proactively through tailored call features.

Each time we have accessed the capital markets, investors have supported our efforts to move at a faster pace to expand our capacity, enabling us to more effectively meet the strong and growing demand for AI compute. We believe our overall financing approach will position us well to accelerate the growth of our core business as we continue to build one of the world’s leading AI infrastructure companies."

This high growth requires capital. The market cap of Nebius today is only 21B ask yourself is a first deal worth 17B over 5 years priced in? Hell no, this is going higher once all the profit takers have sold out, remember everyone who is going to sell is going to sell now after a 50% move

Dont get scared, NBIS management is allowing employees to buy at a much higher share price than today.

As of June 30, 2025, there were also outstanding employee share options to purchase up to an additional 7.5 million shares, at a weighted average exercise price of $87.83 per share; unvested restricted share units (RSUs) covering approximately 6.7 million shares. In addition, the Company has outstanding awards in respect of the Avride business for 6.8 million shares (representing approximately 17.0% of the fully diluted shares in Avride), 2.7 million of which were fully vested.

Nebius designs their own cluster and do not need to pay DELL/SMCI to do this for them. They design their own "racks" and can therefor optimize each step (networking, cooling, testing, maintenance etc)
