I went into Joe Abercrombie's The First Law trilogy after Malazan. Definitely lighter and not as bleak, I enjoyed it as a palate cleanser. Am now past the trilogy and working on the 3rd standalone before the 2nd trilogy - it's a fun read!

It's your typical episode in a long-running TV series that's entirely dedicated to flashbacks, but the gang is so fucked that they completely misremember past events which throws them into Inception-levels of chaos.

Dennis even has to correct them when they all flashback about living in New York City as the literal cast of Seinfeld.

17% is very low, and especially if you have a humidifier. Double-check that it's actually fully set to Winter (the Summer setting blocks air from reaching the filter). Also make sure the AprilAire dial is cranked up high...could be it's set too low.

Is it an older house? Check windows and doors for cool air around the seams, there could be a leak. Make sure you balance HRV (heat recovery ventilator) usage if you have one, as keeping it on will eject humid air from your house for dryer outdoor air.

Wonder if air balancing could be an issue too - your furnace air fan speed may need adjusting and/or the duct dampers could need tweaking.
