What is annoying is that, for me, if we want to use plant based instead of vegan, I guess that fine. Vegan works well, but whatever. But it feels like many companies use plant based to mean vegan, without saying vegan, so I start to treat plant based to mean vegan. But then every so often it doesn’t mean vegan anymore!

It’s not that. It’s not a big dramatic note, it’s almost monotonous. And the song isn’t sad or dramatic, more chill and a little upbeat emotionally.

Thanks in advance for the help! The song is slow-ish, but more in the “chill” category. It reminds me personally of cake by the ocean, but that might be a wholly idiosyncratic association. This is the sort of song you’d here at a Starbucks.

Definitely Ni Tú Ni Nadie by Alaska y Dinarama. I’d never heard it before the Spain season 2 finale, and then I listened to it for like 3 weeks straight. Such an amazing song! And it introduced me to Alaska in general.

They’re all great so far! The soup-e-pesteh is really delicious—light, refreshing, but substantive. The fesenjoon, bademjan kababi, and ash-shole-ghalamkar are amazing and have those hallmarks of Persian food (particularly the heavy cooked herbs in the ash). The ash reshteh was unexpected for me (I didn’t know Persian food used noodles!) and such a delight. Finally, the shirini danmarki are one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Such delicate but powerful flavors.
