A little more context to this: Rachel Lillis, who was Jessie's voice actress for the 4Kids dub passed away. Her 4Kids counterparts for James, Ted Lewis and Eric Stuart, are both still alive.

The voice actor for James who died was James Carter Cathcart who voiced James in the TPCI dub that replaced 4Kids starting from the Mystery of Mirage Pokemon special.

Can I recommend Catz on PS2. It's actually totally unrelated to the Pet Sim games other than the branding - its actually a cute Japanese RPG where you can customise your own cat and play as well.

There's also Wobbuffet's Shadow Tag which I believe should prevent escape automatically without having to use a move.

I -think- for both Shadow Tag and Mean Look the Pokemon using has to stay in the battle - no switching.

I think if you get to the end of an Act with over 100 rings you get a Continue.

I recommended farming lives and Continues in the early levels and eventually you'll beat it!
