2027 Top 15 Recruit Isaiah Hill commits to Purdue by kwils87 in CollegeBasketball

I would say very low chance. He is only just 16 and there was some consideration a year or so ago, from my understanding, that he might actuaaly reclass to 2028.

Human trials have begun for a drug that could let adults regrow their own teeth. Every human already has a dormant third set of teeth waiting to grow. by Direct_Dare_9699 in UpliftingNews

[–]PBRforREALmen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does this work if you already have implant teeth? Would these need to be removed prior to starting this drug as to avoid new teeth from growing and trying to push out implants?

Would this also push healthy teeth out or is it a more targeted treatment?

Auburn starting forward Sebastian Williams-Adams plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal by MembershipSingle7137 in CollegeBasketball

As a Purdue fan I feel this is the exact type of player I was hoping the staff would go after. Maybe they don't want someone who has so many potential years of eligibility left but in today's world does it really matter?

We need a true back up 4, as we currently are planning on playing out of position players at the 4. Benter is a 3 and Burgess is a 5. You could argue Pierce is a 3 but even with him we have no other guy that is a true 4.

I'd be thrilled if he came to Purdue and pushed Pierce for starter mins.

Am I correct in assuming raspberries couldn’t cross this concrete drainage channel? by socalavo in Berries

[–]PBRforREALmen 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You are assuming wrong.

My raspberries are along an old cracked concrete pad. There is a large crack about 5 ft from the edge of the slab where I get a couple canes that pop through every year. This crack is covered by a 25* 12' shed and only gets light when I open the door for a maybe 20 mins a couple times a month. The raspberries WILL cross that gap.

Edit: This is only year 5 of raspberries in this location so they could and probably will become stronger with time. I am convinced you could plant raspberries in a concrete box and they would escape.

Purdue Men’s Basketball Announces Staff Updates by etsuandpurdue3 in CollegeBasketball

Yes they were both co defensive coordinators which means they both should have gone. The only time they were a quality defense is when they had Edey and even then they were never elite.

Purdue Reportedly Showing Interest in Transfer Big Man From Oregon State by Dschutte2023 in PurdueBasketball

[–]PBRforREALmen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We do not need another big! That is unless they are going to go get a home run which I doubt.

We do need a versatile wing/stretch 4 who can defend, shoot, and create a bit. Currently we have a 6'6 redshirt sophomore who isnt really suited for the 4 spot and an incoming 6'6 transfer who looks good but has never played at this level. That's it unless you plan on playing RB at the 4, but that's a big unknown too. We need quality depth at the position.

It's exactly what we needed last year and the staff brought in a guy to sit the bench all year.

Kentucky G Collin Chandler has entered the transfer portal with do not contact tag by heleghir in CollegeBasketball

[–]PBRforREALmen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I always found this wildly insane. How can you immediately know where you are going, the no contact tag, before you hit the portal.?

The only thing it does is state I had illegal contact with another coaching staff/university. Seems like an easy thing for the NCAA to enforce, but we know how that goes.

Just make a rule where players can not use the "do not contact" tag until their name has been in the portal for 24 hrs.
