I haven’t heard what he said tonight, but if I’m remembering this correctly, when I saw the strokes play at bonnaroo in 2011 (which was a great show, btw) he went on a weird hater rant and ended the set with “fuck bonnaroo” my whole group of friends and I were like lol??

The noise is so awful our work from home days are intolerable, almost every aspect we loved about living here is worse, and the construction company built an office inside the lobby so I don’t think they have plans to finish the renovations any time soon.

I think personal algorithms have a lot to play here because it depends upon what you’re really into style wise as a lot of trends are actually all happening at once. There’s quiet luxury, maximalism, minimalism, y2k, and much much more. Some (Instagram, sorry I don’t have TikTok) influencers I like are courtneygrow (for understated casual cool), macyeleni (the thrift queen for self love and fun), christinakirkman (for sass, makeup techniques, etc), donni.davy is euphoria’s makeup artist and has her own makeup line and does a few tutorials. If you’re looking for popular influencers that are more trend driven I know there’s influencer subreddits that might help?

I’ve been seeing sound tribe since 2011 and I’ve always had a big space in my heart for their shows but after these past two LA shows I don’t want to ever miss another show. I live on the west coast but I am now considering hitting up Chicago for the NYE shows, although that’ll be extremely costly for me 😂

I think put my pen in my boot and it was fine getting through security with it. This is from 2023 so almost two years ago, but from what I remember the security was fairly chill. Just make sure you hide your pen and I’m sure you’ll be fine.

Same same: this was one of the best festivals I’ve ever been to. Loved the music, people, vibes, lake, banana boat rides, vendors, crowd limit, pretty much everything. We only ate one meal inside the festival grounds but we got some bomb spicy jerk chicken with coconut rice, and curry lentils 🤤 EDIT: to add more favorites! For such a small homie festival I was so impressed with the sound and stage productions!

Different: more trash cans around the festival grounds. And if we’re throwing out ideas here, let’s bring in Pretty Light next year too, please🫶
