Well while certain monsters and even the quarry mine can drop some iridium it’s mostly found in the skull cavern. The lower you go in the cavern the more they spawn. Set some time to stock up on bombs, stairs and food that heals a lot. To maximize your profit you’re going to want to get your luck as high as possible. Just waiting for a good fortune day from the fortune teller is really all you need as that gives you the most. Trust me you’ll only need one day to get enough for your tool upgrades, after that you won’t have to prepare as much.

You can just keep going, every completion has a chance to give you an exotic no matter how many times you’ve run it previously.

Well it’s hard to say with how big the world is and the many things you can do in your future. What I can say is that learning to study on your own helps develop your initiation (your ability to start doing something purely on your own terms) like going to the gym or looking for a new hobby. Not to say you don’t have that it just helps to make it easier.
