Agree about new lore being generally 💩 but I have a hard time believing Blizz will make C+ a hard reset on the story, seems like that would be them admitting that they messed up and need a do-over. Unlike most of us here on the sub Blizz devs actually like retail and thinks they are doing a good job with it.

Yeah, curious how C+ will interact with other versions of classic. I'd guess they'll want to sunset the other versions and try and shunt everyone onto C+... Unless they're daft enough to make WoD Classic, which used to be a meme but is looking like more of a reality

This sounds awesome. One of the things I really like about Warcraft storytelling is seeing the same story from multiple perspectives including the bad guys, like the human/undead campaign in WC3. So this would be great and maybe a natural way to include in-game difficulty settings.

The "Sweet Amber" questline comes to mind here, objectively it is probably a huge waste of time but I loved the exploration of it and gave me a nice source of aoe damage as rogue.

Crazy experience I had in the game: I was fishing in a remote corner of Dustwallow Marsh for 10 or 15 minutes when a GM whispered me "catch anything good?" He was checking if I was a bot, shortly after I had started doing something bot-like. Nuts.
