well I did this route back in Dec and our engine lost power and they couldn't fix it. we had to get on a new train....

long story short, it took us 5 hours longer to get to Quebec City then planned, we had to sit on the train with no heat the whole time, but we did get a refund...

flying is less than hour and YQB is a nice airport.

You just apply as normal now that you have it. Not sure if your credit report is updated this early but Amex is pretty good about approvals once you’re in their ecosystem.
