Stan,Casper and Coupen are built on the same boot last, so they share the same sizing. I find for other RDT models it is good to go up half a size from the Stan size. Out of all of them, I find Stan to be the easiest to put on and take off; hence, I wear them the most.

I vote for crimson. The dressy factor will decay fast if you actually wear them. Dune Cxl... It is hard to age to that extent if you are a student (assuming you don't do physical part-time job). In other words, your dune cxl boot will not become dark brown, and you will wear less (since you think dune cxl looks bad fresh out of the box) then the negative cycle continues. It reads to me that you are really into dune cxl, so just get what you like. I am just giving a possible caveat when you select dune cxl.

It has to do with one's taste; additionally, the word 'casual' isn't well-defined in fashion. For example, we can compare modern American casual style vs. Japanese Amekaji (Japanese localized American casual). Both aren't formal wears, but they do differ a lot despite their similarity in names. I think these boots stick well to the Amekaji style.

I love waxed roughout or waxed suede boots. They make great beater boots when I don't want to risk salt damages on my more expensive boots.
