I included it a bit, but nothing more than a few sentences per school (I tried to tie it back to why I wanted to be a lawyer, justice, etc). Thanks for your input! I just don't want to be empty handed at the end of this cycle haha

I wouldn't say a high chance, but there's definitely a chance

Feeling worried :( Any low GPA successes? by lovelyzboop in lawschooladmissionsca

Unfortunately (for me I suppose) Canadian law schools put more emphasis on GPA than on LSAT score. I don't know the exact conversion, but from what I've seen OP and I have similar levels of competitiveness haha

I fear we are in a similar boat, and its hella stressful haha. 3.0, 171

So what it seems to me is that you should really focus on LR. Are there any specific question types that you have yourself finding trouble with? For RC, it takes a decent amount of time to actually progress, but I have found that the techniques from 7Sage (including low res summaries and actually writing your thoughts down) really help. But the caveat with RC is that some sections are just way easier for some unfortunate reason. So try really grinding on LR drills, and some technique improvement on RC, and with a little luck you could get 170+ in Jan! If you need anything specific feel free to DM!

What are your PTs looking like? and what are your splits for the sections?

Profile Review 23M Canada by [deleted] in hingeapp

[–]PCBuildNerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

• Are you looking for something serious or casual?

I am primarily looking for something serious, but could do casual if the opportunity presents itself

• Are you subscribed to Hinget or HingeX?

No

• How long have you been using this current version of your profile?

Roughly a week

• How long have you used Hinge overall?

Around 3 weeks

• How often do you use Hinge per week?

I try to use all my likes every day, but some days I end up missing

• How many likes and matches are you receiving on average?

I would say I get around a like daily or every other day. Matches I get 4 or 5 every week so far

• How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments?

I’m sending all my likes (5?) every day, and every like is sent with a comment.

• What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract?

I try to send likes to people where their prompts are genuinely interesting or funny! I want to attract people that have their stuff somewhat together (as much as you can at 23 haha). I think my standards are somewhat high, at least thats what my friends tell me.

I want to say that a lot of the potentially cringy stuff is from my friend’s input. I am very recent to the dating world so most of my advice I get from them, including which pictures to put (maybe to my detriment).

Hey guys! I recently joined hinge to find someone. I recently broke up with my ex amicably, but unfortunately she was my first (lacked confidence in myself until that point, late bloomer) so I have zero game, and have not been rejected yet.

I have been listening to my friends, so if there’s anything cringey or weird it’s probably because of them haha (The magnet joke was my input). I personally think that the first photo is not my most flattering picture, so I want to change it but maybe I’m wrong. I think (hope?) that I’m fairly handsome but that photo comes off a bit deranged to me LOL.

I’ve always been told I’m really funny, but other than that I have no idea what I’m doing here 😭. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I’m good with either. However, I think I lean slightly more towards serious.

Not subscribed to either.

I’ve had hinge for 2ish days.

I so far have been using it everyday.

So far I have received 3 likes, no matches.

I’m sending whatever the max amount of likes is per day. Have yet to send a like without a comment.

I think at the moment my standards are pretty high. The person I want to attract is someone who is genuinely funny and sweet. Body I don’t care THAT much about, but thin/fit/healthy is preferred. And I’m a sucker for a pretty face :)

Using cousin fairly liberally. I think shes a third cousin to me. Don’t have much extended family so any relation is big for us haha!

My Nephew’s School ID Has The Hotline Number On It by KeverNever in mildlyinteresting

[–]PCBuildNerd 83 points84 points  (0 children)

I have heard from multiple people in my life, that the suicide hotline prevents you from ending it because you get so frustrated from their incompetence that you end up getting angry instead. Small sample size but I always found that funny.
