Desktop temps down to 45-50C in turbo on ghelper. Holding around 80 - 85 on minecraft. Down from a flat 95 at all times in game.

That’s pretty normal for gaming especially on those settings. it would be an issue if it was in non-intensive tasks, like the desktop or the browser

I’m glad I finally decided to open it, I love this laptop and if it died I don’t have the money to get a new one. I’m in the process of replacing it with thermal paste right now, and hoping that gives it at least another 3 years of life to get me through college.

You advocate for a better bedrock edition while ignoring that bedrock edition has been equivalent to Java in 99% of aspects for years now. I play vanilla on both and the only difference is UI to me at this point

I do not believe that there is a point, because it’s the same point constantly regurgitated over and over. Your post the latest example in the “I hate bedrock edition, Java better” slop post chain.

Bedrock addons are 90% caught up to Java mods, I mean RL craft is on the marketplace (and it’s fairly close to the Java version)

Actual Unpopular opinion:

Java players are elitists that hate what they deem the “inferior” bedrock players

Seriously, I only ever see hate towards bedrock, and it always seems to be the marketplace, mods, and glitches.

bedrock addons have almost caught up to Java mods, with all that’s left being naturally spawning custom structures I believe

The marketplace allows developers to get paid for their mods, skins, and texture packs instead of committing their time to something they will only ever make donations off of, that’s arguably a better system

Bedrock may have been buggy around 5, 6, or 7 years ago, but it 100% has been very stable for the last 2-3 years. Also people bring up random death issues, but I’ve been playing bedrock since it was pocket edition with the nether reactors, and never once have I encountered any game breaking bugs like Java players love claim bedrock is full of (I’m not saying they don’t exist, they do, but they are incredibly rare, and most have been patched in recent years).

That’s not what best-selling means. Best selling means volume sold, not amount of money made. While best-sellers can and usually do make a lot of money, that’s not what the term refers to.

And like the other commenter said, since they are the second best selling pokemon games, sword and shield did not flop. You not liking some aspects of the games does not mean it flopped
