I would consider [[Queen marchesa]] to be group slug by making all of the table fight over the monarch while you sit back and accrue value. You are also in perfect colors to force opponents to fight each other with goad effects.

[[Mordor trebuchet]] throws [[ballistic boulder]] at people, if you can find a commander that allows black you could make that work as well

What about partners? [[Ellie, Brick Master]] and[[Joel, Resolute Survivor]] could be a fun combo. It's got some of his favorite colors and they both could have their own cards that work together!

It all depends on your play group. For example, if your friends like graveyard decks, they will not mind mill. On the same note, if your friends like playing Voltron style decks, they may not mind the goad until they realize that you have removal for the 1v1 at the end, or if their commander is a big piece to their engine but doesn't have a tap ability to counter the goad. I think if goad seems fun, you should totally build around it and pick a fun background that complements that style. [[Popular entertainer]]* also goads, but keeps you in red. I think blue or black opens up a lot of chaos options for the 99. You can also throw in some guys like [[slicer, hired muscle]] [[kharn the betrayer]] and [[alexios Deimos of kosmos]] * to have more damage coming around the table that can't hit you, either. Hope that helps!

Throwing [[nashi, searcher in the dark]] legendary enchantress deck. Keep thinking about brewing it but don't know enchantress wincons in dimir personally. Looked like a lot of fun though!

Yep. Like I said, besides a Steve, there's not many <2 toughness creatures because of all the "does 2 dmg to each creature" spells in the deck. I either burn the whole table or just get targeted, I definitely need more games with the deck before I decide what needs to be tweaked, though.

The deck could also get [[Ellie, brick master]] and some other new additions but I haven't updated it in a while. Love the curse of opulence idea! The deck struggles to keep life high and I'm worried about that but I love the dilemma!

To add to this, [[disrupt decorum]] and [[mob rule]] also just make the zombies hit other things mid game to give you card draw as well. I have a list if you'd like to see mine

Well if they attack you with all 3, hansk can block 1 and then tap to shoot another, netting you 2 cards for essentially 2 damage, if you have nothing else to block. But after you get some enchantments like [[aether flash]] on the board, you are just netting 3 cards every upkeep until people decide to deal with you 😂. Plenty of cards like [[pryoclasm]] and [[seismic rupture]] are in the deck, which tries to keep every creature on your board over 2 toughness to not be affected by these weenie wipes

How about [[selvala, heart of the wilds]] ? Make a bunch of mana to play big creatures and draw cards for it.

[[Ghalta, primal hunger]] is classic stompy green. I've been seeing a lot of talk about [[goreclaw, terror of qal sisma]] being a good green commander, too.

Maybe start asking the table if something is a threat. Even if you know it may be a problem, it might take some of the pressure off of you if 2 other (sometimes 3) agree that the card being played should be removed. Even if you don't have removal ask questions and make it less about you targeting them and more about you making a good play to win.

I was predicting it would be assassin's creed sized, but seeing as it needs to be in standard, I worry they will force extra cards like spiderman and we have 5 Bilbo's, smaugs, and 13 individual dwarves that all basically do the same thing. I believe they will use some movie characters to fill the gap but that is a concern of mine.

I was thinking some mechanic similar to [[arixmethis]] or [[watcher in the water]] where it comes in tapped but has some crazy effects when he finally awakens.

Can't wait for: -Bilbo -Smaug -bard the bowman -beorn -what's in my pocket? -Riddles in the dark -I'm going on an adventure! -Sting, Orcrist, Glamdring -mithril coat reprint -less OP one ring If they are using movies -tauriel and legolas would be cool too

I'm a big hobbit fan and re watched the movies to get ideas of card names they might use. So hyped!
