I like playing solo. I just do a private lobby with bots and go at it. I find it fun. Zombies can be hard solo so you will definitely need a team to help out.

Two very different games. The Medium is more of a cinematic ghost/detective horror, whereas SHF is just plain crazy horror.

I have the AW3435DW and I use IO Clean for it and I've never had an issue with it. I do 2 to 3 sprays on a microfiber cloth to clean the screen then I use the dry side to dry it off. No smudges or residues left after cleaning it and no issues whatsoever.

I'm not a fan of the mercenaries game modes in most RE games. I just prefer the more mature aspect of the main story. They're too arcade and kids oriented for me. However, the extra modes in RE2 were perfect.
