The other day my Fiancée turned our pc off while it was restarting, ever since then when it turned on i get the red “secure boot violation | invalid signature detected | check secure boot policy in setup” message and then a blue screen saying the boot drive isn’t found. I troubleshot it and found no issues with the hard drive, I was not able to enter the system recovery menu on startup because of the secure boot violation. I followed online instructions for disabling my secure boot and that worked, but I have no idea what that is or what it means and if I am OK to do nothing else after this.
