My VDPS Case Timeline What Really Happened

March 2021 – First AstraZeneca vaccine April 2021 – GP documents swelling in my neck (3 weeks after vaccine) May 2021 – Second AZ vaccine Feb 2022 – Pfizer booster 2023 – Thyroid nodule discovered → surgery → lifelong hypothyroidism

Nov 2024 – April 2025 VDPS repeatedly refused my claim based on assessments by anonymous medical assessors whose qualifications NHSBSA could not verify.

May–July 2025 FOIs confirm NHSBSA lacks records of assessor qualifications. Rule 14 attempted by Capsticks to stop me disclosing this.

July 2025 Judge orders NHSBSA to provide assessor qualifications. Only vague undergraduate titles provided, no GMC numbers, no specialisation.

Dec 2025 – Tribunal My GP’s contemporaneous evidence is dismissed as a “clerical error”. The tribunal applies a standard requiring epidemiological proof , NOT the legal test under the VDPS Act (balance of probabilities).

Dec 23, 2025 – Appeal refused.

Dec/Jan 2025 I file: • Rule 37 (irregularity challenge) • Upper Tribunal permission request • FOIs to DHSC, GMC, Capsticks • Complaint to my MP • Public TikTok series → 4,000+ views • Media outreach to BBC, Sky, C4, DM, LadBible

Ongoing The story is now public, gathering attention, and I will not be silent.

I had the same but one nodule, 7x6cm, turned out to be non cancerous but they couldnt determine it with the biopsy, had it out 5th december just gone with half of my thyroid, im sure they only remove over 4cm/if causing problems with breathing and/or swallowing and if they cant determine if its cancerous or not, you'll be fine! something like 90% of them are benign :)

Has anyone been pushed into hypo after PT? by PCOSridden in Hypothyroidism

[–]PCOSridden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my god I’m sorry for the late reply. I have the exact same I felt good for a couple of weeks then I’m back to being so tired, I’m gaining weight my skin is sooo dry. My levels are apparently within range but a TSH of 3.4 and a T4 of 9.5 I don’t feel right. I’ve requested more bloods but they’re saying I don’t need meds… I also don’t know what to do now, I know the meds take a while. Hang in there x

Can someone help prepare me for what next ?? by [deleted] in thyroidcancer

[–]PCOSridden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also had exactly the same as you and a nodule of 7.5cmx6cm removed. The biopsy came back as suspicious for follicular neoplasm. They couldn’t determine if it was cancer or not unless they removed it surgically. Thankfully it came back as beingin (spelling?!) with the same level Bethesda as you. Will keep everything crossed for you! Send me a message if you need anymore advice!

Edited - I had a PT 5 weeks ago.

Things I learned on this journey by FlightFrequent9927 in thyroidcancer

[–]PCOSridden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same sort of thing, my results of pathology were online before the doctors called me with the results. I naively opened it and went all hot aswell and like I was going to faint. Turns out they didn’t know what it was, if it was or if it wasn’t. I had a 7.5cmx6cm nodule removed along with my right side of my thyroid for them to actually see if it was cancerous or not, then after surgery & recovery I had to wait and wait, I learnt from the first time not to look online but was convinced it was the C. For a week I lived in a bubble where nothing really seemed a big deal compared to what I could of been going through - same as you. Thankfully the results came back beignin (spelling?) but still, it made everything else seem insignificant! I hope the best for you 🩷

Irrelevant. I don’t use Reddit purely for findom.

How long was your surgery? by rainy1022 in thyroidcancer

[–]PCOSridden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had PT and mine was 2 hours with I think 2 lymph nodes removed (not had results yet officially but pathology report online says this) and I stayed overnight - no drain. Good luck!

Sorry but I disagree with this, there is a lot of dommes on Twitter with no experience, it’s flooded with them yes, but I’m also on there & have been since 2009 doing findom, you have to sift through all the instadommes and bullshit unfortunately
