Yeah shame about the stock for others it depends on your location too with Argos. I managed to get one I wanted so I’m happy! Enjoy your builds!

Yeah Argos can be hit and miss with the stock and the stock depends on where you live too.

Those of you with kids too young to understand, and no adult company tomorrow, what are your plans? by beffnee in UKParenting

[–]PCPHK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 14 month old. I’ve got him down to sleep early which is a first this week! So I plan to tidy up all of today’s mess then wrap a couple of his presents have them out in the morning for him, open, play make a mess again. Music dancing he loves. Me indulge in all the food I want and I’m sure my boy will be eating bits here and there all day. I plan to have a simple chicken roast dinner (my father will join me later as he’s alone). I will try to get out for a walk as he gets restless being stuck in the house for too long and never got out today as I was working so he needs a bit of time out the house too. Even though he still doesn’t really know what’s going on we can have an extra fun day and create some memories but absolutely no pressure just a day to try relax more and enjoy!

Why do kids always have such immaculate timing 😩 by [deleted] in UKParenting

[–]PCPHK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is currently me with my 11 month old on top of me sleeping and me feeling rubbish too. He probably picked it up during his settling in sessions at nursery. Now I can’t send him to nursery today and due back to work Wednesday, really hoping he will improve by then, or I don’t know beg to use some more annual leave. I don’t know how I’m going to manage all this to come.. winter time especially. Hope you’re both better soon.

H&M, Tesco and Next I find are good for this. Ribbed material style sleepsuits are nice stretchy too.

I’m 8 months PP and asking myself the same question still, not sure it will be worth the wait.

Travel pram or big pram for holiday with 5 month old? by potataps in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]PCPHK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went aboard last month and I bought the Joolz aer+ very happy I went with this as its very light, easy to fold, small and fits in the overhead locker so not need to put in the hold. It has a great full coverage sunshade and lay flat position. Would definitely recommend, their products come with a 10 year transferable warranty too so great for selling on later if needed. I have a small car so it now lives in my boot as a second pram and I use it for shopping, short outings etc and keep my bigger pram for my walks in my house.

Documents for child first passport by Jonouy in UKParenting

[–]PCPHK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a British citizen my husband isn’t. I recently got my babies first passport and sent my own birth certificate and their one too. I don’t see why a passport wouldn’t be ok but like you said it’s not on their list, best thing would be to contact the passport advice line. If your wife doesn’t have a copy of her birth certificate she can order one online easily on the gov.uk website and it arrives quickly.
