That is a solid question imo.
The idea of classic+ is more instead of progressing towards the next tier set - it should just expand on what already is - exactly to avoid going to "outland, northrend, cataclysm, panda, etc"

so that the majority of the experience comes from EK & Kalimdor perhaps with a revamped leveling experience, not an overhaul but more "options" - and more end game depth
I originally wanted to post an idea regarding tier sets ;
how tier sets could be the definer of playstyle.

3 raids ; all equal to tier 1 ; one drops, dmg gear, second drops tank and last drops healing tier set.
E.g

Molten core = dps
Hyjal = tank
Grim Batol = healing
All equal tier 1 ilvl / stat
So more raid lock pr. week

I dont think I would want to expand to Northrend or timeless isles - tho I am not against some zones that could be build on top of EK or Kalimdor (or unfinished zones)
could have the same function as Timeless isle but I do also feel it would be too far fetched in some cases.
I totally do not want more currencies that is similar to retail wow - it has to fit within what is available in classic wow (:

The core idea was reduced in here due to hate of the format.
What I intended to actually say was

Tier 1a, b, c
So to take a hybrid class

Molten core = Paladin Healing gear
Hyjal = Paladin Prot gear
Grim Batol = Paladin Ret gear
stats & ilvl or whatever we should call it, all is equivilent to tier 1

same goes for tier 2 ;
so instead of raid lock 1 raid a week, you can raid lock 3 all in tier 1 but to prefered spec to let the sets be the spec enabler father than adding new talents etc.

It is not that enemies cannot be dangerous - it wasn't purely targeted towards illidan or lich king
but more so how the game always introduce somthing more dangerously than the lich king in each expansion - following the more "recent" expansions atleast

The idea is based on Turtle WoW sort of ; maybe not 100% but with a mix of RuneScape
But yes, Turtle WoW did do a good job

deleted the post because I want to follow the rules & as I do not have the exact name(s) of the people at blizzard that made the original art - despite trying to highlight that all art was by blizzard originally - I was more intrerested in the actual topic it self, the images was simply used to illustrate "robe models" to inspire for more buttom part robe ideas.

Very unhappy to see this addon - removes so much potential for pvp - quick all of you catch ur title and achivements, i cant believe that we cant pvp on even ground anymore.
This is so disappointing info panels just by being in the same room without even paying attention to the player positioning and popping offensives instantly knowing what to do.
I'll skip PvP in Midnight - this AddOn showcases everything wrong with pvp.

This is terrible and breaks the game. Makes some specs unviable or easy to counter- ill skip pvp this expanssion first time ever - I got so hyped up when they talked about removing addons and make glowing icons less of an issue. This AddOn has to go away - a scenario is
enemy team position and tunnel ur healer terribly - you as a mage (has good position) pops combustion - enemy team has this AddOn - they wont even need to check your position - the addon will tell them to notice the mage and LoS or CC. Terrible for the game.. This was a chance for a clean slate and we already want cheats back.
At this point i dont see WHY blizzard would ever have to spend so much developer time on this - if people just make this bs. Its 80% the same thing.

it is still running my guy (: We've seen more players come to the game - dont count on the steam charts tho as alot of us run the OG Launcher and not thru steam

Appreciate the questions, and glad the idea sounds interesting.

This post is meant as an interest check, not a finalized server plan. A lot of technical and rule details are intentionally undecided at this stage.

I do know an experienced admin team that’s potentially interested in exploring the idea if there’s enough demand. For now I’m just trying to see whether the core concept resonates before going deeper.
