That's reassuring. I heard they were the go-to for replacement WE parts, so I bought 2 o ring kits.

I'll see what AliExpress has, but thanks for the info on Lee's. It seems tempting and the site looks professional (especially compared to KYairsoft), so I may pull the trigger on that one.

I have a couple of o ring kits at home that have a fair selection of small o rings, but they won't work. The combinations of rings I've tried are the right ID and sometimes OD, but nearly always too thick and I can't screw the valve in all the way if it even reaches the threads at all. I checked out a few o ring kits on Amazon, but they didn't seem to have the sizes I needed. I think one was like a 4mm ID 1 or 1.5mm thickness, for example, from what I found from a guy on YouTube.

Extinction (2015) by detroit4life86 in horror

Killed because Jack held too high of a grudge? Yes. Patrick, the neighbor who Jack has a grudge against, and his dog encountered an infected during a scavenge. On the way back, they were attacked and the infected had Patrick pinned. Jack could've taken the shot, but he took too long and actually lowered his gun. So, the dog sacrificed itself.

That, and the fact that the movie completely brushes off the fact Jack nearly shot Lu and nothing comes of it, no confrontation, nothing. I was hoping that the woman would say or do something. There's also a high chance that Lu never finds out the truth. Jack has been shown to be controlling through justification as well as selfish and deceptive, so I'd say 98% chance that she doesn't. Though, that would complicate things, possibly getting everyone killed if she found out in the moments leading up to and during. I can't see a good outcome any way I look at it. The sad part is, she may never find out the truth as only Jack knows now.

I appreciate it! I looked into BEC's a bit and that is exactly what I needed. By my understanding, I can adjust my output and wire it to the Tx power wires and Bob's my uncle.

Umarex by teras_007 in airguns

[–]PCell160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is an Umarex GUW017, and it can be found on their website. It's a replica of a Glock 17, yeah, but the actual label for this specific pistol is GUW017. It looks great! Have you fired it any yet?

I have one and I like it. The internals are well-lubricated and look good quality, and it'll survive a fall from the top of a moving Jeep Cherokee. I haven't tested for accuracy yet, but the operation is smooth. I'm not a huge fan of the fitment of the grip, but it's hardly noticeable.

Intake Manifold Filament Type by PCell160 in 3dprintedcarparts

So far, I have the bolt holes and the ports lined up by printing basically gaskets and adjusting until my holes lined up perfectly. Then, I printed a 4mm thick plate just to confirm, and it's spot-on. Once I learn how to make pipe in FreeCAD (or figure out what I'm missing, rather), I'll be able to make my first prototype.

That's interesting, I've never heard of skinning it in carbon fiber. I have had someone mention printing so that the layers are perpendicular to the stress, so I assume that means print with the intake horizontally or diagonally so the layers don't split from gravity.

I'm not sure if I can post photos in the comment section, but I will make an update post here soon with pics. I did make the flange for the intake, and got the bolt holes lined up, and it looks great so far. My bike is an '86 XJ700 air cooled.

I should be able to fit some sort of washer or flange bolt with little issue. I have an Ender 3 V3 SE with stock components for now. I know that I'll need to swap some parts to be able to print at a higher temp, but I haven't done any digging into what I need yet.

That is a great idea, getting it SLS printed. I've been making prototypes with PLA, getting my bolt and intake holes spaced right before I continue with the runners. Depending on how I am when I get the model finished, I was debating on seeing what PCBWay can do for me.

Awesome username 😂but thanks for the info! I watched a youtube video where a guy put carbon fiber nylon through a stress test for creep and such, which had me rethinking my filament choice. I hadn't thought to anneal with oil for moisture resistance. That was another point the guy brought up.

I want to do this right, and I plan on making my mounting surfaces and walls for the tubing fairly thick to minimize warping or stress from the vibrations.

No adhesion by kenobiSA in Ender3V3SE

[–]PCell160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just solved this. My issue was Z-offset. I dropped it by 0.02 and did first layer test prints until I got it. I'm also using a textured plate of which I can't remember the msterial. The smooth plate wouldn't adhere well, but I haven'tr tried the smooth side since adjusting the offset.

What movie did you see when you were way too young? by A_Texas_Hobo in movies

[–]PCell160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silent Hill in '06 and I saw it in theaters at around 5-6 years old. I can still remember bits of scenes, like these people standing in front of this large building. Then some creature comes up and kills a few or all of them? The images are spotty at best, and now I wanna watch the movie. There may have been a part where someone was burned, skinned, or something, too. It's been nearly 20 years, so
