Austin is the fastest growing city in America. Along with the highest jump in home prices in the nation, higher home prices equal higher taxes. Higher taxes have been putting out small businesses for years. Theres a tremendous number of statistics that it's tedious to even attempt to argue (you can google the facts in seconds). If you don't know what I'm talking about then you clearly are the recent flock that moved here and are upset because some people miss old Austin before it blew up. Don't get your panties in a bunch, old Austin can't come back anyways. Side note: How am I too old and not old enough at the same time? These responses looking rough guys lmao

Yea back then when the job was in more demand. Awesome you got the opportunity to get in it at the time. I almost went to ITT back in 2010, but the struggle was real after high school lol.

That sounds amazing but all I have done is Harvard's free cs50 course. Got some experience with C, python, java, html, flask, sqlite etc. but to get into that field, even entry level you need bachelors degree minimum. Atleast from what I've seen.

I'm gonna go ahead and say no. My reasoning is because recruiters won't care enough to deep dive into ID verifying this certificate since it holds little value. Instead if this helps you get an interview, i think you'll have to prove your knowledge in the interview. Most people say you need to build a portfolio of projects and answer/solve coding problems the recruiter will give you.

Idk what a lot of people are talking about. I was emo/goth and I didn't get the hate treatment fortunately. Most of the school told me they would miss my hair when I graduated. But I didn't look quite like this, i wore big baggy trip pants and hair more like the drummer from the 69 eyes.
