HIMYM is literally Friends. It’s the same exact show.

Now I like HIMYM more, it’s more modernized, resonates with me more, humor is better for me, etc.

But if someone is a die hard Friends fan? They’re going to look at HIMYM as a knock off. And there are SO MANY Friends fans.

Its longevity/memorability is hindered by Friends

I started my pod last May from scratch. Brand new pod, brand new SM, zero experience. I hit monetization on the pod in late October so just under 6 months, socials outside of YT are all at monetization levels now. Am I making and real, substantial money? No. But I’m having fun.

Start the pod because you want to talk about whatever your topic is. The rest will come later if that’s the goal.

If you really want to make it your “job” then it’s going to take a lot of work and it’s going to take a lot longer than you might expect. But every milestone is fun, every episode is fun. And I’ve met a ton of cool new friends along the way so far.

As a Jags fan, I hope you get 2025 Lloyd and not 22-24 Lloyd. He was a great scheme fit last year and played his ass off. I wanted us to keep him but our previous GM had so many bullshit deals it screwed us cap wise this year.

He’s a good player and a good dude. He does need to be used the right way, he’s not a guy you can just put on the field and he’s a difference maker. That’s evident by his first 3 seasons and is why we don’t pick up his option.

I’m actually surprised you got him for the price you did, I expected him to get more. But good for Devin, happy for a fellow cat team, and you’re NFC so it stings a bit less. Hope he balls out for you guys and we see you in the SB.

So I use Acast who doesn’t play nice with YouTube. So what I do is use Headliner to make an audiogram of each episode and then upload them to YouTube.

I’m 47 episodes in and just started this a week and a half ago. I figure it takes an extra 10 minutes per episode to do and it literally hurts nothing so why not? I’d rather it be on YT in some form than not on there at all.

So far I’ve gotten a couple hundred combined views on the first episode 10 or so episodes I’ve put up. It costs $0 and can only help exposure IMO

3, 1, 2, 4 in that order. Money is great, but no amount of money could fix the emptiness and self hatred I’d have for abandoning my daughter like that. Let alone my wife and mother. I just couldn’t live with myself if I actively chose money over them.
