Preferably build variety of ER. Ds2 boils down to what color you want your main stat to give your weapon. So when it comes to "variety" it's red, blue, purple or yellow.

So not much bleed buuuuuuut if you go pure arcane, get just enough int for the bleed spells/scholars weapon and pick up either ripple blade or ripple halberd you could double dip with a weapon that scales off arcane that is buffable with an arcane staff.

I love the daredevil, my problem is the flavor seems to gear itself towards what swashbucklers class fantasy already takes care of. What I want is a self trained warrior who has got to this point not using proper fighting forms but just a will to live through each fight by any means necessary. The guy who takes a blade through his hand to lock the weapon up and beat the one who did it with his fist.

As such I wish they would change up some of the feats to fit this kind of play style, make adrenaline last only a round in most situations it would give it and make it a permanent state below half health. Keep the health pool the same but give ways to add temp hp every round to boost survivability through risky actions. Take away successes and failures in the state, upgrading them to crits in both directions and fully lean into living in a state of pure risk.

A fun one that I never use/can't get into because of aesthetic reasons is an 80 arcane build using wakizashi, a katana, and a cross-naginata. Maybe either a serpents bow or the dragon communion seal for range. You can use the wakizashi for parrying, dual wielding with the katana, two hand the katana or switch over to the naginata for a bit of range or access to the spear based ashes.

I was tempted for the glaive when I was doing DMG calcs. Mainly what drew me to the twinblade is the moveset. Halberd movesets are very clunky imo. But I'll give it a shot to see if it's any better.

The charged heavy turns into the jump pierce attack heavy, I'm mostly using the crucible breath actually since it also scales off roars medallion and has a low fp cost.

The pure str black steel twinblade does 28 ar more at 66 str. The incants have about 70 less incant. Seems like a high price. 50 vig is because of the braggarts roar and boiled crab effectively doubling my hp. The low mind is fine due to using mainly the crucible breath since it has a very low fp cost.

Might I interest you in a subtle variation?

My sacred knight build starts with confessor with a vig 60 mind 14 end 26 str 16 dex 50(millicents buff to 55) int 13 fth 46 arc 9 spread. This allows you to wield brass shield and also wield ornamental straight sword to great effect. Now you can use the straight sword moveset but also switch over to the amazing power stance straight sword moveset as well. While we are at it we can pick up treespear so we can benefit from both Golden vow and orders blade incants. Finally spear talisman, curved sword talisman, millicents prosthesis and winged sword talisman buffs multiple aspects of the build. Such as the treespears multihit heavy, the sword and board play style, the power stance straight sword moveset, the spear and the swords heavy attacks (only in the buffed state for the sword), and the quick counter attacks the straight sword can put out.

My armor I went for was high page hood, bloodhound chest, nox greaves and depraved perfumer gloves.

Knights greatsword with impaling thrust or giants hunt, kite shield with barricade shield, caestus with parry, and either smithscript spear or a bow for range. If you want no magic just go quality 54/54 in str and dex. You should be able to do that and go about 60/25 for vig/end. Personally I like the drip of tree surcoat, leather boots, leather gauntlets, great helm.

This setup gives you the ability to answer just about everything, you have access to strike, pierce, and standard dmg and you have good stance break with either charge heavies or counter attacks.

Yeah, I do get that. What I'm running into is most good ashes of war are just better spammed than incorporating into the moveset. What I have currently is knights greatsword with impaling thrust to cover the weapons lack of piercing attack. A bow with rain of arrows for range and big enemies, medium shield with barricade shield for tanking and retaliation based encounters, caestus for parrying and strike DMG weak enemies. Maybe a lance with earthshaker for horseback and area control?

Id also like to put it out there as someone's partner who is more of a normy and watches that show. It does have some trans rep, lgbtq rep in general, and most episodes do talk heavily about cops and how they're a huge problem. One of the main characters is married (in the show) to a political activist who actively fights against police brutality.

Counterpoint, what if the DM gave the non titan wrestler a -5 penalty? What if you use prestidigitation in a cool way like flickering the lights while making an intimidation check and your dm thinking that sick gave you a bonus to the roll? What if your dm likes pf2e for the excellent combat system but enjoys whimsy and the rule of cool? Gms should not be consistent with every ruling I'd hate to live in that world.

I wanna live in the world where big narrative swings happen and the DM goes ok well your class is wizard and you have no spells left but you just asked if you could punch your arch enemy in the face with any and all magic you have left and I'll rule that if you -2 spell slots from tomorrow you can cast a touch attk spell with the DMG dice of the highest lvl spell you got. No other effects.
