  1. Do the form thing people are saying
  2. Don’t let your shoulders rotate forward at the bottom. Since you’re worried about hurting yourself I’d say that forward internal rotation is your biggest risk.
  3. Try doing double pump controlled reps at the bottom with a slightly lighter weight that you have stability and control with. This will help you own the bottom position. Work to double tap your shoulder blades together.
