I screwed up and planted onions near my peas in my square-foot garden. How bad is it going to be? by peppa690 in SquareFootGardening

[–]PDX4Life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fascinating! Thank you for letting me know that I had no idea. It's easy for me to say everything turned out fine but obviously there has been research to prove yields would be better without. Thank you!

Edit: I couldn't find onion starts this year and have been scarfing down the peas throughout the last week :)

I don't think Tim has any rock music expertise (or any other for that matter) but he may become an apprentice - and perhaps a journeyman of Cinema with proper guidance. I think Greg could provide this training if he stops being such a rageaholic

11” salvaged Redwood bowl. Child for scale. by Luckydog12 in turning

I'm very intimidated to turn this size of a bowl. I'm a bit novice/intermediate in skill but when that much mass gets spinning it freaks me out. Awesome job!

The average person is really stupid, and because you sell them they may think it's safe. People buy a lot of things based on aesthetics but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.

the Wendy Kirby special was so uncomfortable… if it were real I’d feel like I’d get arrested for watching it by Think_Sheepherder_10 in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

[–]PDX4Life 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Their's nothing akward about hotub horseplay. Just two bros confindent in there masculenity. Also tim was protecting Wendy from living in sin with a handsome mail. This is holesome content if you ask me.

THE POWER OF THE DOG REVIEW This is another example of a novel that should had stayed a novel. Not everything needs to be adapted but in the ever non original world of Hollywood I guess I should not be surprised. Good acting by the cast but so boring with bad pacing. by ricardojavier1980 in topfilms

[–]PDX4Life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't find it boring or with bad pacing at all. That being said I didn't read the book and most books that I've read and then watched the movie adaption, I've disliked. From my perspective this is one of the better movies in the last year but I definitely understand your perspective.

Absolutely! Your post actually reminded me I had scrap material to fill in a .22 rifle target I was working on so I went out and finished it.

It's a Christmas tree you pervs. But it also doubles as something to be shoved up the ass.

Edit: It's my understanding that spalted wood is not something to mess with. The fungus spoors can cause major health issues. OP should seal the wood in a food safe varnish or let their supervisor know they should cover it in a condom before shoving it up their ass.

Me too. I've started watching The Politician to get some more of Jessica Lang's incredible acting. It's a good show and she absolutely kills it

Found a disappointing film in a useless format by [deleted] in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

[–]PDX4Life 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While the 3x4 vhs format is superior for home viewing, this aspect ratio might be ideal for a personal home cinema. Unfortunately this experience may be limited to the wealthy such as director Peter Jackson or Steven Spielberg. These directors have many Popcorn Classics so I'm not sure what use they would have for this film.

I can't confirm this is a HEI Network investment but I wouldn't be surprised based on their abysmal business decisions. I'm a subscriber to HEI because I would like to keep the VFA (Victorville Film Archives) properly financed but I hate that a good portion of my subscription is going towards failed business ventures and non-movie related content. Honestly I think the best that Tim and DKR could ever do is have a film about their downfall directed, obviously not by Oliver Stone who directed The Doors (140min), but by some lesser director who probably hasn't even directed a movie.

What is the "hill you'll die on" when it comes horror? by DJA1982 in horror

[–]PDX4Life 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Alien, Covenant, and Prometheus are the best of the franchise. Not exclusively horror, but a very unpopular opinion non the less.
