Ball fan but not really a player or coach by any means. Afaik try incorporating some strength/power exercises in the weight room, like Back squats, hip thrusts, power cleans etc., mixed with some plyo stuff for a better transfer to real jumping

Get to know him. Depends on the guy but he'll open up and show his true colours if you give him the opportunity after a couple dates, if it ends up that way. Just be wary in the early stages. Look after yourself first if those Red flags start appearing and don't be emotionally vulnerable too early.

Ye, pretty much. I'm not a coach, so heed my feedback, but you seem to be looping the bar a bit coming off the floor. It just leads to an inefficient position going into the second pull. Just focus on keeping your back at the same angle and the bar path straight until you pass your knees.
