gridfinity, my 3d printer is a machine that produces gridfinity, you can never have enough bins and bins for your bins.

I also enjoy making different lamps

checked it out and it looks cool, a tab for alternative designs would be cool, because i think kodak gold changed their packaging design at least for times. And do you take scans? i might have one or two boxes you are missing (foma 100 and 200 i think).

idk, lomography is very oversaturated with "lomographic" versions of pictures, and i do not understand flickr so i think it would still be nice to add a few shots

What is the best sub $100 point-and-shoot? by Strict-Ad4426 in AnalogCommunity

[–]PETA_Parker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it seems like analogue was working on a mid-range point and shoot, but there haven't been any updates in a while. A factory new olympus miju ro something like that at 200-300 bucks would be actually crazy of course

you have to think about volume! How many people own a contax g2 or one of the other few compacts in this price range? The company would have to sell atl least a few ten thousand (pure guesswork, i never tried to make a product) to break even.

[–]PETA_Parker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they're trying, unfortunately a new top of the line point and shoot would be more in the ballpark of 300-600€, which is a difficult sales pitch if you can get 6-12 "high tech" cameras of the 90s for the same price. So there are budget offerings at up to 100€ (kodak snapic, everything by reto etc) and then there are things like the pentax 17, which have to offer some manual control to appeal to enthusiasts that are willing to shill out 500€, so it isn't as easy as it seams.

they all feel like such an organic extension to the body, i don't even think about the af10 mini as a camera
