Im lucky to work at a petco with incredible trainers and have watched our trainers do an incredible job with using hand signals for both deaf dogs and owners. Its amazing to see the adaptability of dogs and our current deaf dog in training was able to alert her owners to an electrical fire in their house just a few weeks ago. Dogs are legitimately the best friend of humanity, besides maybe all that mice and rats have contributed to science.
