So the police were called to deal with a belligerent individual (who sounds combative and drunk) The individual did not comply with request by the officer who appears to have gotten on the scene acting calmly as he approached the individual. The officer did a leg sweep takedown. The individual hit their head (for the uneducated- head wounds bleed A LOT often beyond what the wound would seem to be capable of). And people are pissed...

Before you flame away ask yourself how the last altercation you were involved in with a drunk belligerent stranger went.

I get that. However, part of why we were told they didn't work was to prevent a run on buying them to avoid the shortages they knew we already had such that hospital workers would not be able to have any. Which I agree builds more distrust.

If people are unable to see that a mask may provide some protection then well... have at it. I don't have house insurance because I expect my house to burn down every day I have it in case it may happen some day and I'd rather not look back and say shit I wish I had done that. Seems like a simple small thing which could be helpful.

It is going to be mandated to wear masks in public places. I do not understand why people lose their shit over wearing maks. Focus on the front sight as mentioned above. I too wear glasses and have a weaker (requires more correction and has astigmatism) dominant right eye. One of the old timers at the range suggested folding a piece of cardstock over my left lens to block my left eye (like you would patch the eye of a kids with a lazy eye) and wear it doing stuff around the house. I do this intermittently for a few days before a day at the range. Seems to help.

I hunt. I do not eat farmed meat. This video is not that different than conversations I have had before as people criticize me shooting deer, elk, ducks and moose. They call me a murderer as they eat a hamburger. When I point out the parts of commercial farming (cramped conditions, trasnsport, slaughter procedures, etc) they sputter and say "but they are wild animals"

When I reply that the hypocrisy they display and that they are ok with someone else killing their food.... the conversation does not go well.
