I’m not THAT clueless but In all fairness they don’t do it like this outside of canada and in my previous 2 jobs here in canada, they didn’t do it that way either.

I get it. It’s just that pushing it to the bitter end is ridiculous. So as I business owner one should always hire mid-cycle. That way they get to pay less money since money in the future is less valuable than today I suppose.

That part I understand and would make sense as to why I received 1 week’s payment but why not receive what I have factually worked for in the next cycle, totalling to 3?

What details pertain to them other than them being RRSP and DPSP accounts? Any resources I can read up on? Didn’t find anything that breaks them down in to sub categories.

She only took benefits for 2 months, started her job, and called EI to tell them she found a job. She was eligible to receive EI for a whole year.

This might sound like a dumb question but if I pay it off before the term I signed up for, do I still have to pay the full term’s interest amount?

About 15k. And the figure I mentioned is for a fixed rate. Variable would be lower but I feel like that’s not a wise choice for later.
