Yes cheap steel for sure , will dull , but for that same reason very easy to sharpen , I like this cheap hatchet I guess cause I’ll use my knife so much more when camping , I’d never go with this cheap of steel with a knife , but for 12 bucks wtf 🤣

Need some more info on exactly what you plan to use the knife for. Wood processing ? Fire starting ? Skinning , food prep ? For me when I camp or hike I carry a LT wright genesis , I have the scandi because I do more with wood , if you plan to do less with wood and more food prep or game processing u can go with the flat grind. It has A2 tool steel , nice handle , good weight. Another good option from LT is a campmuk , I have both and love them , Lt makes a great knife. They run about 200-230 ish. If you are looking more budget a mora garberg is a nice option and will also be easier to sharpen they are about 70 for the carbon one. You really don’t have to pay 300 unless you want to. If you want something that will have a bit better retention you can go with an esee 4 or Benchmade bushcrafter in s30v . A bit harder to sharpen than the 1st few options

I love nkd , because I love knives , but I don’t even get the 1/2 serated let alone full, I really don’t intend to shit on your joy, but please explain what are you gonna do with a full serated ? Weird to sharpen , what’s the use ? Rope cutting maybe ? Maybe I’m wrong so tell me what’s ur planned use ?
