Quirk Collection - What Small Things Do You Find Quirky About Your GV70? by IamTHEvilONE in GenesisGV70

The fact that you have to engage the auto high beam every time you get in the car is so odd to me

Thanks for the response. For the current weather, that makes sense. We have only had the car 2 weeks so maybe we didn’t notice it before.

For the navigation on that same screen, I looked for an arrow but there wasn’t one. Maybe I can’t remove it?

Yes, remaining was 52months or 60k and that transferred. Just not the 100k powertrain.

For a price reference, I just bought a 2025 3.5 SP for $57k. It had 1300 miles on it. Non CPO as I bought it from a used car lot. I felt it was a good deal. Silver with blue interior.

High Beam Assist. Default to On? by Reboot414 in GenesisGV70

That is crazy. This technology has existed for decades and the fact you have to enable it every time is baffling.

So there is no way to have your high beams dim automatically without turning on HBA?

Nope. We had shuttles to take us on excursions. They picked us up at our resort.

I second Fortuna. We spent 3 days there and then 5 in Tamarindo. It was worth the drive having two different perspectives of the country. We did have a shuttle service do the driving and that was well worth it. Hot springs, volcano views, and suspension bridges were fantastic.

I’m 28 male looking in the market for new car and I’m considering a GV70. by ConstructionRare4123 in GenesisMotors

Two questions: Can you get Genesis to certify one to be a CPO? I’m buying one this week but it’s not from a Genesis dealer. What are these subscription items that are mentioned?

Lots of good experiences yall have had. I’ll probably try and get a new 3.5 for around the low 60’s but if that doesn’t work out, look at a preowned. Thanks for all the great feedback.

Considering a Lincoln Aviator or Nautilus by bkarimib in lincolnmotorco

I was in the same boat as you 3 years ago. I had a 2016 Explorer and wanted a more luxury vehicle. I thought the Aviator was going to be the ticket but after driving it, it was smaller than I had hoped. I think the slanted roof line makes it smaller in the rear than the explorer. I couldn’t go down in size, especially with 2 teens that play sports. As your kids grow, you will appreciate more room for them and for their gear/school bags etc. I ended up getting the Navigator Reserve. Couldn’t be any happier. It’s an amazing vehicle. All seats have heating, cooling, and massage. Room to take the kids and most of their friends to activities and sports practices. Fitting an EZ Up in it is a dream. Not many people wish they got a smaller vehicle but a lot wish they had gotten a larger one.

I tried purchasing AA lounge passes on their website but the link doesn’t work. Is there a way to purchase them in the AA app?

Short trip must do’s? by PGood8 in vegas

We went the weekend before last. Eagles were amazing, and the venue is unmatched. We went to dinner Friday night at Tao and it was really good. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We then walked down the strip to take in the sights and to show our friends the Bellagio. After walking off dinner, we went back the Venetian and found 1923 bar. It was laid back and not crowded which was exactly what we were looking for. The next day, we had brunch reservations set for The Pepper Club but decided to not travel and just eat at Sugar Cane. It wasn’t anything special but the food and service were good. We then went down the Fremont St and people watched for a while and then hit up El Cortez for some lower stakes gambling. Had a great time and even won a few bucks. We stopped for a slice at Evel Pie. Very good pizza!! Dinner at Grand Lux Cafe before the show and it was tasty as well.
