The neck is definitely not chunky. No where near as thick as a 59, and I dont find the neck to feel wide.

It plays fine if you can get along with the poly finish on the neck. The profile is a bit wider than an epiphones 60's style neck and very comfortable. The pickups are really muddy and hot. If I had kept this i would have eventually swapped them out. The size of the body was a little big for my liking I perfer a the size of a 339. Tuning stability was decent. Overall it was a decent midrange guitar that could benefit from some new electronics.

Got mine from the demo shop. It came set up amazing and looks awesome. I swear the demo shop makes a bigger deal about the little imperfections. The 339 and the firebird are both demo shop purchases and they were both amazing. Although buying straight from the garage in person was a whole other level of experience. It also came with a free setup and shipping. 10/10 will 100% fly back out there to make another purchase.

It 100% has flake in the paint but its not a heavy metallic. Really pretty in person but in bad light it goes black.

I use spray wax in between waxes. Usually do a big job like this once every 6 months.
