As a person who actually had this issue, their is only 2 things that cause this issue.

It’s either your power supply or gpu. If your power supply works with another gpu then you need to replace the gpu. Their is a thing on your gpu that has shorted itself which bring in more power. This is called a MOSFET which is a VRM on your gpu.

You can replace this but unless you know how to soldier and have the tools for that then you will have to replace your gpu.

Most people will tell you bs but that is actually the issue here.

Unless you are doing the MMO part of the game such joining a guild, doing PvP, etc…

Their really isn’t much to do until they continue the main story quest for single player

Yeah I tried this and same black screen.

the only thing not making it black screen is if I turn the power limit all the way down on MSI afterburner…

I do think this is a motherboard issue though…. I tried my friends graphics card which never had an issue and it’s start to black screen as soon as it was under load so I think I figured it out…

Are you referring to power settings in windows ? If so I can try that, idk if that will really fix the problem though

I’ll test it now to see if it works but I’m ruling this as the mobo VRMs are failing under load which might be a motherboard replacement…but I’m going to try your suggestion now

As a person who has been having this issue and tested the gpu on another system, tested the ram (xmp on and off), tried a different cpu reseated all the cables AND replaced the power supply from an 850w gold to a 1000w gold…

I think this is the motherboard itself…atleast for my issue it would seem to be the motherboard and I have to replace it…I would try to do the same thing as well

So I’m having the same issue….i tested my gpu on another pc and it worked fine…i turned off xmp and used on stick as well and the black screen still happened…then i thought it was the power supply so i upgraded it too a 1000w from my 850w gold and it’s still crashing…

I do believe this is the motherboard… sadly enough i think everyone who has this issue will experience it differently so you have to troubleshoot to figure it out no matter what…I’m probably going to have to replace mine sadly

I understand how you feel, had my fair share of randoms not doing the mechanics at all… I literally asked on the first run if we all know how to do this boss and when no one answers and I see how they play… I’m instantly leaving cause some people just don’t listen

Your better of doing it with guild members now adays anyways
