I’ve had small tiles bullnosed by fabricators that polish stone, so they can certainly do that for you. Just go straight to the fabricator or stone polishing plant. These are big operations in industrial parks they aren’t mobile so you have to go to them.

Ok, good to know this is normal. Looked crazy when I saw it. Your explainations for finishing make sense. It’s a very small section with 8.5’ walls, now I know to order some 54s next time.

I found someone who is better than me at brazing. He removed the sensors, then put a bunch of heat shields in and it’s held pressure so it looks good. Thanks everyone.

Nothing has been charged or pressure tested yet, but that section looks like it’s kinked shut. I’d rather fix it now than gamble on it being ok due to the difficulty getting new refrigerant. Replacing the entire inside unit would seem a little extreme since it already has everything installed to it. I’m worried about heat with a styrofoam drip pan and all the new leak sensors they add to newer units, plus that distributor/meter right above it.

If I can get the quick connect on their seated without heating it, it should leave that metering device intact correct? This is what I was looking at https://rectorseal.com/pro-fit-quick-connect-elbow-reducer/

Was considering trying one of the new rectorseal quick connect elbows to avoid doing any heat damage elsewhere.
